Even when I'm really careful about sugar, I still go over because of fruit but I choose not to sweat that. My problem today is that I completely forgot that I was going a no-sugar challenge and that it was already September and ate a piece of leftover birthday cake... oops! At least I figured it out now and not a week from…

OOooh Thanks for the webpage!

It's really tough! I'm working on this myself! I've started by completely cutting out all added sugar and packaged snacks! I eat a bit of fruit when I want something sweet. You just have to keep buggering on I'm afraid until your body stops craving it as much!

Amazing! You should be so proud of yourself! I love what you said about renewing your commitment! The reality is, we all go through these lulls and phases where the weight doesn't come off but instead of giving up, you renew yourself and come back stronger than ever to meet your goals! Such a positive inspiration! Best of…

Good for you for standing up for yourself. People are so unbelievably rude. The reality is, it doesn't make one bit of difference in her life what you look like. People should learn when to mind their own business. We really don't make the world a better place by judging one another and it makes me sad that people have to…

I'm sure somebody already mentioned this, but this weight loss is a marathon, not a sprint. You're setting yourself up for failure with unrealistic goals. You're losing weight for life, right? Then why does it need to be done in 5 weeks? It doesn't.

Everybody is different!!! I eat three meals with one or two snacks depending on how hungry I am, because I like to try to spread my calories out over the day for energy. Some people do great with six mini-meals and others go way over in their calories that way and find they do better just eating three square meals. Try…

Remember to be gentle with yourself! Wake up each morning and remind yourself that you are worthy of being treated kindly and deserve a healthy, balanced life. Try to make the best choices you can, but do NOT beat yourself up when you enjoy little treats. It's only a week of vacation after all! Enjoy it and you can pick-up…

Different bodies need different things. I don't think that the amount of protein I eat is especially low, but in comparison to those who seem to worship protein, I imagine it would appear that why. I know that protein helps you stay fuller longer and helps in muscle repair. It has also been suggested, however, that too…

Holy crap! You look like a totally different person! You must feel so proud of yourself! Congrats and thanks for sharing you pics, very inspiring!

I know it's frustrating waiting for the scale to change, but you have to remember that the scale is too easily influenced by a hell of a lot of other factors (ie: water weight and things). If your clothes are fitting better, than that's a wonderful thing! Maybe step away from the scale a bit and start taking weekly…

When it gets to the point that they haven't signed in for over three weeks and haven't made any mention of going away on holidays or needing to take a break... I think it's time. For me anyways! I want to surround myself with supportive people who are doing their best and by keeping numbers down that way, I can be really…

You look amazing! Congrats! Keep up the great work :)

I've overtrained before (not to the extent you have, I think) but I find that you just very slowly back off a little bit. Cut 10 minutes off your exercise routine or take an extra rest day. I find that slowly backing off helps you find exactly where you are pushing too hard and what works better for you!! Best of luck :)

Maybe if we knew what kind of medical condition you have, we could better guide you towards an exercise program that would work for you? Exercise has been absolutely critical for my weight-loss. That being said, my weight-loss is fairly slow and I'm constantly having to adjust and try new things. Try not to get…

Way to go!! Keep up the good work :D

I can definitely relate to this. It's so easy to beat yourself up and put yourself down when you make a mistake or have a bad day. For me, forgiving myself and nurturing myself has been a huge part of my journey. I've always had really negative body image too which I've been working on. Now instead of looking in the mirror…

The first week is where you lose a lot of your "water weight", so the number on the scale might go down a lot but it's not fat just yet. Don't beat yourself up! 1 lb per week is a wonderful thing to achieve! When you set your expectations above that, you'll be disappointed because 1lb of fat is 3500 calories gone and…

Okay, true story about my skin: I have always had acne. I mean, I hit 12 and it showed up and has never left. I'm now 23. It runs in my family to have adult acne for life so needless to say, I've tried almost every product on the market. What I have recently started doing, which seems to help quite a bit, is washing my…

Hiya! Feel free to add me, I've been eating a vegan diet since the end of december :) And I consider myself pretty non-judgemental as my whole family eats whatever they like!

The sugar in watermelon is natural fruit sugar from its proper source. No body ever got fat eating raw watermelon, apples, and berries... Your body knows what to do with natural sugar. What makes you fat is chemically processed white sugars. I even stopped counting sugars as part of my diary because I always went over in…

Personally, I'm a student on a budget. So it's cheaper for me to grab a $10 DVD that I can do from home than pay for a gym membership. Also, because I can workout from home, I don't waste time going to and from the gym that I could be studying!

Amazing job! You should be very proud of yourself! Keep up the good work, you can accomplish whatever you set your mind to :)
