Why do I drink?
-
I would never rely on me for help, but I like minions.
-
Man, I thought you were gay.

I am too drinkies and too lazy to read this thread. I'll tell you what I told my daughter recently, when explaining to her why we're trying to eat more whole foods... Once upon a time, people had farms. They grew things and they sent them around the country for people to eat. Growing things and sending things started…

Shhh, honey, when you say things like that you draw attention to yourself. You a Devs fan?

When I see 'Horror Story' I now expect it be of the American Horror Story variety and this totally does not measure up. Where is Tate?? But that is really awesome. When I got divorced I weighed so much more than I did when I first got married that I still--almost three years later--can see the mark on my ring finger from…

Yeah, well, we know about you. You should really go for a Bloody Caesar, be crazy among your friends and attract nearby Canadians. Instead of tomato juice, use clamato juice. It is quite delicious!

DUDE! Vodka and OJ! Perfect breakfast. Why you gotta hate on the breakfast? Seriousness: "Breakfast" may or may not be the most important meal of the day, it doesn't really matter. What matters is that you eat healthfully whenever you choose to eat. Except for when you don't, which should be about 80% less often than when…

Ah, man, my pours are the reason I'm up and posting here-- but that's wine.
-
Is it BREAKFAST???
-
Whatever the first thing you eat in the 'day' after you wake is technically breakfast. This is 5 pages of silly. SILLY! Holy crud, 6 pages now! It graduates to ridiculous!

It doesn't need to be about football to make someone want to shout MICHIGAN. hehehehhe (man I would hate it if someone posted this vice versa, so I apologize, but: wine.)
-
Whatever, I would just totally marry David Tennant and visit ALL THE TIMES.

Yes, I read it... And what you've said pretty much proves my point. Most people do not suffer from SAD, depression, or--unlike you--work outside of their own time zone. I'm also an exception to the majority... I have Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome, which means that--left to my own devices--I am an extreme night owl. The rest…

I know I already posted my advice of go more slowly, but I want to add that it's important for doing something like C25K as well. I know it says 'Start with a brisk 5 minute walk to warm up' and then it tells you to run and walk and run and walk and whatever. Here's the secret for those of us who are ridiculously out of…

I'm a lot happier now that I've stopped trying to lose weight and instead have focused on making my body more healthy. Weight loss will most likely be a side effect of that--which, I won't lie, will be nice--but it's not the reason I eat the things I eat or exercise.
-
And most people work by day and sleep by night--because that's what everyone ELSE does so that's when we're needed to work--which suggests that we are basically ruled by circadian rhythms. In my view, anyway. :)

It's ok! I would never have taken the job if I'd known at the interview. On one hand being fired was a blow to the ego, but on the other, they were Scientologists, you know? Like they have any idea which way is up.
-
I got fired from my last job for calling in sick. They were Scientologists though, so it wasn't unexpected that I would eventually be fired for something.

I have been eaten by so many grues. :( edit: The closest I come to gaming anymore is goofy FB games, but in the past I played a lot of Vampire: The Masquerade via MUSH. Never really could do tabletop-- I was always too self conscious about roleplaying in front of people who actually knew me.

Go slower. When you're comfortable, go a little bit faster. I understand you may feel like you're not getting much of a workout if you're only going, say, 2.4 mph, but you actually are still burning calories! You will get more comfortable in no time and you will be going faster and you'll feel comfortable and confident.…

I don't know a dang thing about wine, have the palate of a child, and am totally broke. Those three things in mind, I like Barefoot Cellars red Moscato and Sweet Red.

Hey you judgy folks, throwing around words like 'trashy' and 'trendy' and 'sheep' and so on? You too are being judged. Hope it's not too harsh. :)

I've only lost about 5 pounds (this time, hah) and I can't see it at all, but I can feel it in certain areas. The bulges are just ever so slightly less... bulgy. But to look at it? Nothing has changed.
-
Oh, you live in the neighborhood too?
-
I'd say most, unless I'm mistaken on what a circadian rhythm is.
-
I don't even have a GIF :(

I just bought a Roku, though I haven't yet set it up. My main interest in it was to subscribe to thegymbox.com channel, but I'm growing attached to the idea of ditching DirecTV entirely. I live with my folks to help care for my father who suffers from a form of dementia. If I can get something similar to the Military…

I'm assuming your son's friend still wasn't home/with his parents when they showed up to take him to church? I would be very, very bothered by that as well. Overall though, we're in a similar situation. My daughter is 11; the neighbors' kids are 10 and younger, 3 girls and a boy. They are very religious and home schooled.…

Hey now, oatmeal IS ew.
