It was definitely awesome to watch. I did my stationary bike exercise while watching. I ramped up the tension and pushed myself harder and harder as the show went on. It's a motivational show for sure :)

I would suggest getting a heart monitor. I found out that with the heart monitor, I burn more on the treadmill than it actually thinks that I am. I've only gotten sick when I haven't had enough water or nutrition for the day. Are you wearing a heart monitor ? I quit coffee for one particular reason: I don't like black coffee... I add sugar and creamer (both terrible)... So I haven't had coffee in almost 3 weeks. I think it's definitely helped push me to lose weight more consistently, but I'm unsure if coffee keeps you from losing weight.

I refuse to use an elliptical... it causes my asthma to flair up in about 5 minutes and then my knees hurt because i'm almost too short to use it properly. I love my treadmill. I've been doing the Biggest Loser 30 day jumpstart... I purchased a heart rate monitor so that I can track how many calories i burn during the workout, since it doesn't have it in the database. Hope that helps :) good luck!

For sugars, fresh fruit has a lot of sugar. That's not necessarily a bad thing though. You're getting the more natural sugar from fruit as opposed to eating candy bars and ice cream.
