  • Thanks guys. I always have reservations about buying things that cost over $100, but I've bought from beachbody before and have been satisfied. I'm worried more that I won't commit to it. My friend assures me that this program is worth it, and I've only seen where people either don't like that it's time consuming or…
  • I am interested in purchasing and getting into P90X. Where can I purchase it?? I've seen lots of ads on the television and the internet, but I have no clue where to actually get the right one. Can either of you help with that?
  • I have two pups that I just adore! My Siberian Husky is Kahlua (she's all white except her cindy crawford/marilyn monroe black spot) and my Golden Retriever is Harley Davidson. She is incredibly smart and bossy. I come in the door, and she's telling me all her woes in woos :) He is such a mama's boy because he just has to…
  • One book that I read in 2010 and again a couple of months ago was The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane by Katherine Howe. I love historical fiction, and this one I couldn't put it down at all. A close second that I want to re-read before the second one comes out is The Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness (an adult…
  • I'm also one that was here a while back and just now got restarted :) Today's my first day back :) Add me too if you'd like. I'm 25 and over 200 pounds at 5'2". I've had a weight problem all my life after 6years of age except for my senior year in high school. I have a wedding I'm planning and will likely not hit my goal…
  • I started out at 214... I've taken a very long break and am probably close back to that starting weight. Anyone can add me :) Trying to be positive in all aspects of my life, and my weight loss is the last peg in that to complete :)
  • I went strong for a very long time, and I think everyone has great advice. I've done it all before. I went so great that people started noticing that I was more active and getting slimmer, which to me, is the best thing. I love it when I hear "you're looking so great today." I never had that growing up, so it's a great…
  • what type of hrm are you using? the polar's are accurate, as I finally became a follower lol. Walmart ones are less accurate. Those that have the chest strap are much more accurate than just the wrist watch ones.
  • I'm right there with you. It sucks... I keep finding reasons not to exercise, but not too bad of ones like doing wedding stuff or anniversary stuff... but we've GOT to get back on that horse! I keep saying that and hoping to convinces me. With all the rain down here in the south, my dog and I haven't gotten to do any…
  • Depending on your defiintion of crazy money.... I had the same problem. I bought one from walmart... then started reading about Polar ones... Took one paycheck, spent $125 on the Polar FT7. Totally rocks. Way more accurate, not too uncomfortable getting used to the chest strap. I think it was worth the extra cost, and I…
  • Sounds like a rough day! But glad you're getting stronger and standing up for yourself! Kudos! I hope it starts to work on others around you and they lay off you about stupid stuff! Good luck!
  • Okay, I want to start by expressing that I am not a therapist, but I do have experience in a divorce from a guy who physically wasn't nice to me... I hate to say abused because I didn't stay long enough to be abused.... I was lucky. Now, you said in your post "verbally attack" and "physically" and "my family doesn't know."…
  • I quit coffee because I use sugar and creamer, which is terrible. I also love that I'm not kept up at night after drinking coffee during the day... seems like quitting it helped me get started. Switched to hot tea, which seems much more soothing. It's definitely a personal preference though because I know many people who…
  • Meeee!!! Getting married June 2012!!!! Congrats!!
  • I completely agree with you on facebook.. I find myself envious of others in my life, as if my life is actually worth less because I haven't succeeded similarly. Good job deactivating... I'm not quite that strong because it's a source of mindless, game entertainment while at work lol
  • Love my stationary bike that i keep in front of the tv... definitely find something good on or you'll worry about flipping channels rather than pedalling haha!!
  • Love it lilcrittert!!!!
  • Ok, you lowered it to 1200 which is probably the lowest you want it to go. If you're working out, you'll get to consume more, which will keep you healthy. I don't think it's a problem if you hit that goal each day. Any lower and you risk not losing weight because it's too low. Mine's at 1270, so I don't think it's wrong.…
  • Congrats! Sounds like a great end to a great workout :)
  • I agree. I will add most things that are in the database that are completely accurate, after observing the label versus the database. But my own recipes or meals, I add them together myself in the recipe. Each time it asks if you want to add it to the database, and I say no. That's only because some people make things…
  • 2003 Toyota 4Runner.... LOVE IT!! It's comfortable, sleek, and spacious. Gas mileage is 18-22 in the city, about 23 on the highway. Not too shabby :). Good luck finding a new car :)
  • what do you do? just step up on it?
  • Best story ever!!! If you don't mind, I'll be printing it and telling more people haha!!!
  • Just started, it's my third night tonight. It is quite the challenge. Good luck! I'm down 2 inches on my thighs just from all the weight training involving the legs and then lost 2 pounds in 3 days :) It's a great workout, even though you want to bite her head off lol
  • That made me cry :) Definitely needed that today. Have a great weekend :) You're doing fantastic too!
  • I started Jillian's 30-day Shred two days ago... I hadn't noticed much change in my legs, like you. This morning, I measured my legs for the first official time in a month. I'd lost 2 inches on my thighs, and I hadn't lost those 2 inches prior to the Shred. She really works engaging all those muscles through squats and…
  • Monday mornings before work... makes my day much better haha
  • Have you tried looking it up on their website or something like that... usually i just google things to find out. good luck!
  • I'm actually trying to help organize a 5k for my area... there aren't any around here, but i really want to participate in one this fall. My local animal shelter is suggesting it to their fundraising committee :) Definitely hoping for news in the beginning of March :)
  • Congrats! You're looking great!
