I completely understand. I had lost 20lbs and then had to move cross country and gained 20+ pounds back. It sucks. I am also starting over. Good luck and I hope you reach your goal!

My Fitbit Ultra would count calories that I did not burn. I wasn't even wearing it. I would add on like 1,200 calories to it. Its based upon your age, weight, and height. I am not sure about all the other FitBit products. And yes it does it depending on steps for the Ultra.

I have the FitBit Ultra. Its nice, it clips anywhere and is customizable. The only problem I have is it counts calories that you have not burned. I am feeling the same way! I work my *kitten* off everyday going on the treadmill, stationary bike, Jillian Michaels, weight training, and more. I work really hard and I'm sure you do too!
