I'd really like to purchase an elliptical or a recumbent bike. Doc also said anything where I'm leaning forward is not good either, so he thought biking in the traditional sense might be a bit too much. Weight lifting I'd be very curious about, love to join a gym but it's not an option just yet. There is a very small one…

Hi everyone! Wow, I can't believe I've been on here for a few years now and just thought to look for a group of others like me! I've had scoliosis since junior high. I've never been braced or had surgery. It was talked about a lot when I was young and I sometimes wish my parents would have went that route. I'm currently 34…

About 45 minutes...Hyundai Sonata and I usually fill up once a week. It gets about 34 mpg!

Danville here

Ha! I know EXACTLY how you feel. I started out at the largest size they carry (40DD, not in stores, online only) now I was just sized the other night and I'm in a 36 DDD, I am so excited that I will soon be in the cute in-store sizes! Actually just pick out a cute bra there and know that they have it in my size, never…

Down 1.4lbs last night for a total of 6 so far! I'd say 6lbs in 2 weeks is enough to keep me going =)

I did mfp for about a year (minus a short hiatus) and now I've just joined WW as of 2 weeks ago. Going to my 3rd meeting tonight, so far I love it! I no longer log on here, but I've found it incredibly useful to look up foods nutritional value via this site. I find I'm already enjoying the fact that I can eat salads and…

I'm working on it... I swear that is the only phrase my ex husband ever said, just another reason why he's an ex!

Me too!!! I <3 Chewie! As I'm reading these posts I'm thinking of my 9 yr old who has a slight obsession with Star Wars. Maybe we'll have to break out some DVD's this weekend too!

Danville, central PA, home of Geisinger...up until the flood kicked us out I lived in Bloomsburg, my house was right next to the fairgrounds...

definitely trying this!!!

EXACTLY THE SAME HERE!!! Love Kashi...Go Lean Crunch is by far my favorite...but the other two...delicious as well! The vanilla one with blueberries or strawberries in it...better than dessert!

Wow! I guess my loss is not near as great as some of you. Thank-you for sharing your stories. I hope and pray that each one of you affected by this are able to move on safely! God bless!
-
WOW!! That is unfathomable!!! So sorry to hear that! How on earth do you function with two small children like that? I've got two boys 9 & 12 and I can't even begin to think how awful that would be at their ages!
-
Enjoying some right now...usually I don't do much better than Folgers, and here at work they like it STRONG...usually in my travel mug it's 1-1/2 packet of truvia and about a tablespoon of powdered creamer. Sometimes I like it with flavored creamers or preferably half and half, but I'm at work, coffee's free, and we've…

Didn't I send you mine the other day? Hopefully mine drops by Saturday...ugh, this plateau is getting old!
-
When do we need updated weights? I don't like mine, but I've got it!
-
I tried it for awhile...I for one thought it tasted AWFUL!!!! I couldn't gag it down no matter how I prepared it! And, yes, incredibly expensive! But I suppose if you regularly spend more than $4 for breakfast it's a bargain? A friend of mine is a BeachBody coach, so I hate to say it, but IT SUCKS!!! Just eat well, and…

Since Sunday I have walked 15 miles, I'd say that's a pretty good start! Hopefully my weight will soon start to go down, it's been rather plateaued for a bit...grr!

Thank-you!!! I'm divorced and have 2 boys ages 9 & 12. Their father eats nothing but garbage and sees no problem with taking them for fast food nearly every day! He has no idea what proper nutrition is, he was once a competitive power lifter but he never did eat well. Seriously, the man weighs in at no less than 400 lbs…

Footsteps...by far my favorite...tracks your distance, calories burned, mph, time, and more...LOVE IT!!!
-
Seeing as I am currently able to comfortably wear about 3 bras in my drawer since losing some "boobies" I will definitely check this out! Thanks!

Hands down, my favorite of all time is ONE by Metallica...Life is on pause when I hear that song...LOVE it! Of course, I generally like all Metallica though

This is my general rule of thumb....if I feel up to it, I do. So long as my symptoms are only above the neck w/ no fever. I actually had a sinus infection last week and the one day I felt up to it I did do a workout and I was surprised just how great I felt after I was done. It gave me a huge boost of energy.…

Yep, I hands down AGREE!!! I am prohibited from doing a lot of exercises due to my scoliosis. No jumping, jarring and no running! So, I walk, or I kick butt with Leslie! There are a few of her dvd's I've found I can't do, but I just pass them on to someone who can!
-
Leslie Sansone on Friday evening, nothing Saturday (OK, I cleaned my whole house but no "exercise") and a really great walk yesterday with a new friend. I think Bloomsburg Beach may be my new favorite place to walk! And who knew it was minutes from my house?
-
Me...mayonnaise! Yuck! I also greatly dislike ranch dressing, I always think to myself when I see someone ruin a good for you salad with that crap that I am so glad I hate it.
-
According to my footsteps app I went 2.79 miles last night, I don't know, I'm pretty sure that it was a bit further than that. Oh and that was my first walk with my new NewBalance Rock n Tone sneakers on....wow do my legs ache!
-
Nothing all weekend, except bad eating choices, lots of alcohol and fabulous friends...NOW it's back to normal...plan on doing a few miles after work, will update once I'm done =) Keep up the great work everyone!
-
Just finished 2 more miles...wow, I haven't been challenged like that in awhile, don't know why it was a true workout tonight!
