  • I try to log in advance the day before and then i can see if i can afford additional snacks. I find it helps me to make good choices.
  • Hey my diary is open so you can see my routines. Ive been going to the gym for 11 weeks and see the PT every few weeks for a bew routine. At the moment doing a full body work out but ots mostly strength and core. Feel free to add me x
  • I'd always like more motivational friends. Particularly those with an open diary and regular gym goers... but those are not necessary requirements x

  • Hi All, I have a 7 month old and am starting to try and lose baby weight plus the extra weight I was carrying anyway! I'm still breast feeding and up until 3 days ago been eating like I'm feeding the world! Just started batch making hairy dieters meals and freezing them so on busy days I can shove one in the oven. Each…
  • Love Belvita breakfast biscuits.
  • Have you tried looking at some of the hairy dieters (bikers) recipes? They are all under 500 cals and all are proper size meals which is nice! http://www.hairybikers.com/recipes?page=1&order=latest&type=all&from=1553&q=
  • Hi, I have just got back into cooking, mainly because we are following the hairy dieters (bikers) meals which are all under 500cals. I'm so proud of what I am making I take pics every day and post them on facebook!
  • I will cook for 4 in the evening and then my husband and I take a portion each to work for lunch. We're currently cooking hairy dieters (bikers) meals from there recipe books so they are all under 500 cals.
  • I have Belvita Breakfast biscuits. They are really nice and easy to eat at work so I don't have to get up any earlier. At the weekends I have oat so simple porridge. You pour milk into the sachet and the sachet into a bowl and zap it in the microwave for 2 minutes. I definitely find it easier to diet by having breakfast.
  • Start logging... ... even if you arent achieveing your goals at least you know where you are going wrong. Once you start logging you will start caring. Don't cut out things you love... you will crave them and binge! x
  • I can understand the fact that you may feel inferior or put off by those carrying less weight, I totally used to feel like that before joining David Lloyd (sorry for the plug). The trainers there are so hands on with everyone, and there are all different ages and body types working out that you just feel like part of a…
  • 1. Log everything even on bad days (it may look better after a week). 2. Read Susie Orbach on Eating (first self help book I have ever read and now I think every time I put food in my mouth) 3. Don't cut out the foods you love... you are more likely to crave and binge on them. Feel free to add me
  • I feel there may be some people here that need to enjoy life a bit more than worrying about what will kill them quickest. Diet Coke & Science fan here... Loving Aspartame... Loving Life... My highlight of the thread was seeing that someone doesn't eat barbecue food in fear of chemicals.. Oh Dear God! Just off to sip on a…
  • F/30/5'7 [279lbs>265 = 14lbs ] (1 month) My first stone! Yay! Only 7 more to go!
  • Most weeks I drink nothing... However if I am on a night out I drink everything! In the UK they call it binge drinking if you have more than 3 in one evening! Well thats me... a social binge drinker... do I care? No... Why not?! Because I can go weeks with drinking nothing... and to be honest while logging cals I'm…
  • Hi Dan and Nick, I am looking to lose about 7/8 stone. I have logged in for 20 something days now and really trying to stay the distance. I like all my friends posts and comment when necessary. Feel free to add and inspire me! Kirsty
  • It's the same with food you love and consider 'naughty'... If you cut it out completely you will end up craving and binging on it. Cut back. Use MFP to make informed choices. Yesterday I went over my calorie goal for 1 strawberry cider. I loved it! But I've been under plenty of days this week to allow for it. Have the…
  • couldnt get hold of the pizza dough this week - i was going to make them!
  • ive sent you a request, just started on 7th jan :)
  • Basically they are a couple of UK chefs who were about 20stone. Obviously it is there job to come up with yummy recipes but they said that they were out of control with portions and drinking. So they have put together a cook book with receipes from breakfast through to dinner, replacement take away meals, lunch box ideas…
  • I have to say I am currently following the hairy bikers diet. They have lost 3stone each in 3 months. There recipes are amazing and all under 500 calories. Saw their TV programme about it over the christmas holidays and thought - Im having some of that! I started on 7th Jan and have currently lost 12lbs. Ive been back in…
  • I spent years researching tattoos on the internet looking at different designs before I went to a tatoo shop who had done my nose and tongue piercing - so I knew he was a clean artist, had no problems with either of the piercings. I went along with my design and booked in an appointment. It took 20 mins to do a small…
  • I am just going to re-iterate everything everyone else has already said! 2lbs is the healthy realistic way to lose weight. Actually when you think about it, it is a stone every 7 weeks - which is amazing. That is my goal! In the long run it means I should reach my target weight by April next year - that doesnt seem like…
  • This is my 3rd time on MFP. I also fell off the wagon after a very good success story! And here I am, heavier than before! Feel free to add me and I will try to help motivate you :) With the food thing, I have found the biggest success is making things in advance. I take a salad to work with me for my lunch every day. I…
