  • Hello! Just starting my 3rd year on my fitness pal. Lost 6 stone and now training for a marathon. Please feel free to add me!
  • I have to use the creche at the gym so I can go (have a 2 and 4 year old). I go to the gym on a Monday and friday and you can book the creche 8 days in advance which I do. Called last Sunday for tomorrow and hour after bookings had opened and couldn't get in. Thursday I called again am hour and a bit after bookings opened,…
  • Hello. I started c25k last november and now training for manchester marathon. I go running 3 times a week, childcare dependent and weight train twice a week.
  • @stoked2b I don't want to run further than 5k at the moment lol! I did some speed training tonight and knocked 3 minutes off the time. I'm doing my first park run on Saturday. Hopefully running around other people might pick my pace up a little. Yay my gym trainers are asics and running trainers are Brooks so good choice 😁…
  • Also a stay at home mum with a 3yo and 1yo. I go to the gym while they are in childcare or when they are not I do weights at home. In the evenings when hubby gets home I go running. I've sent you a friend request. Anyone else is free to add. I've got over 100lbs to lose and done 62 so far x
  • My advice would be don't think of it as a diet and don't think about cheat days. Look at your calories in and out. I probably wouldn't now after a year of logging have a takeaway once a week. However we do have them still. If I want a biscuit I have a biscuit, if I want cake I have cake. But I always try to stick within my…
  • I need to lose over 100lbs. Am at 62 so far! Feel free to add me!
  • Feel free to add me. I've been on and off since 2011. This time I've been doing it for a year and 2 months and lost 62lbs so far x
  • As everyone has said don't diet. Log your calories for what you do eat and try to stay in defect. Are you exercising? Doing some weights will help tone and cardio will allow you a few extra calories on the days you need more x
  • Hey, happy for anyone to add me. I'm a mum of 2, little girl who is 3 and little boy who is 1. Got my act together after my little b9y was 1 and if almost hit 20 stone. I go to the gym twice a week to do weights. In November I started the couch to 5k running programme. Graduated in January and now run 5k three times a…
  • @amgreenwell well done! Great time too! I'm trying to get mine under 42 minutes 🤣
  • I've continued to do 5k since finishing the programme. I'm doing my first park run on the 23rd. Good luck x x x
  • @amgreenwell excellent job! Good luck x
  • @stoked2b definitely sounds like a reason for new shoes or running socks!
  • @stoked2b yes that's him in the green light up collar! He could carry on going all day!
  • I've finished! But ran my first 5k this morning. Took me 42 minutes x
  • Well there was 1 thing left to be done on my couch to 5k journey and that was to actually run 5k! This morning I did it. 5 and a half laps round my park in 41 minutes and 59 seconds but whose counting 🤣 I'm so pleased I can now say I can run 5k. No walking involved. And I ran for 10 minutes longer than I have been running…
  • I DID IT! Well sort of... I graduated couch to 5k... without actually making it to 5k 🤣 I did however get a PB distance. It was COLD tonight. Hood up and sleeves down for the first lap! Not why GPS map thinks I took a short cut across the field... I definitely didn't. Slightly dissappointed I only ran 0.01miles further…
  • @stoked2b I've still got week 9, run 3 to go. Was supposed to be this evening but it hasn't stopped snowing so looking more likely to be tomorrow! @amgreenwell I've admitted defeat. There's no way I'm running in this 🤣 Either weights or just a dog walk for my redjanuary!
  • 19th Day of @redjanuaryuk and Week 9 Run 2 of Couch to 5k! Today I ran over 3 miles! Hence the celebratory 🤟 (closest I can get to 3 finger emoji) picture. I really thought I had gone a lot slower than Thursdays run and had resigned myself to a distance of below 2.99miles. So when I looked at the Fitbit at the end of the…

  • Day 15 of @redjanuaryuk and week 8 Run 3 of couch to 5k. 😮😮😮😬😬😬😱😱😱 3 runs to go before I have completed the c25k app! I can't believe I've been running for 8 weeks! I still can't believe I can run for 28 minutes solid and that I am running laps round a park I once struggled to run down the long side of. So I purposefully…
