Hi I'm 5'7" and have creeped up to 184 the past few months. My goal is to drop 26 lbs and get my core strong so I can start exercising. I've enjoyed running in the past but will try walking on the treadmill for a while. Feel free to add me!!

Hi. I just had back surgery in November with bad pain down both legs. I wasn't able to exercise all Fall. I'm on the road to recovery and want to do it right so I don't have a set back. Once I get the all clear from the doctor I need to strengthen my core. Its a frustrating process.

Feel free to add me to. I'm just getting back into this again and would like to lose around 20 lbs. I've got two small children and am committing to logging each day.
-
No change this week - still at 179 on Monday morning. My plan is to get back on the treadmill this week to get the scale moving again...

bump for my weigh in tomorrow!

Hi I want in on this too! I could use the motivation...This morning I weighed 180 - and my goal is 160 for Christmas. We can do this!
-
Count me in too! I could so use the extra motivation. I've lost my focus lately and the scale has been slowly creeping back up. I was just thinking the weekend that if I focused myself for the next 3 months I could drop 15-20lbs and be so much happier with myself. My current weight is 173. Feel free to add me as a friend.

I'm starting tonight as well - nice to have a group of people going thru it....I'd love to get to Day 30 this time. Good luck everyone & Happy Mother's day to all the Mom's!

I'm starting it tonight as well. I did it back in January for about 20 days...could really notice the change in my arms. I'm also coming back from an injury so I'm hoping this won't make things worse. I'll modify as I go if need be but I've been feeling pretty good lately. Add me if you like - I can use all the motivation…

This looks good! I've already got a spreadsheet started to keep track of how much I do each day. I'm also doing the C25K in week 6 now. But, I've been neglecting my squats and pushups. For my personal challenge I'm going to do 2000 crunches - that works out to about 50/day and for the days I skip I'll just have to do more!…

Hi, I'm a mom of 3 yr old and 1 yr old. I started in Jan and love this site. You can add me too. I find the site so motivational and full of helpful info.

That's too funny - you crack me up! I would never have thought to put my ipod in my bra!! Good luck with the 5K run on St. Pat's weekend...I've got to find one near me to do in the spring. We've got a winter freezing rain/high winds weather today and too much snow for me to go running outside. I'll stick to my treadmill…

I'm still here - been reading along. I did w5d1 of C25K last night and will do the Shred tonight...thinking of doing Lev1 followed by Lev2 tonight so I can get a good 45 minutes in. We'll see how that goes because I've still got to do C25K tomorrow!

Try it every day for a week and see how you feel, then go to every second day if its too much. I guess it depends what other exercise you are doing. I think the point is to get into a routine with it. It works several different muscles. You'll be sore for the first few days but it'll get easier and you'll start to feel…

Great! I'll break out my DVD again and give this another whirl. I got to Level 2 Day 4, but stopped a week ago...will pick up on Level 2 again. I'm also doing the C25K, but I plan to do the 30DS everyday...it's only 20 minutes! We can do this!!

She really isn't that scary in the video - it is 3 levels; you do Level 1 for 10 days then go on to Level 2. Each level is a combination of strength, cardio and abs. Honestly the first 2-3 days of level 1 my upper body was sore, but after that you just feel like you've had a great workout. For the strength she combines two…

Lots of newbies - I find this thread very motiviating...it's nice to see I'm not the only one going thru this...guess if I can't run with a group this is the next best thing! I did W4D1 last night and the second 5min were tough - thought I was going to have to stop but I just focused on the music and made it thru. I'm…

Hi, I've got a similar problem with my low back and hips. I ended up with 2 herniated disks a year after baby #1. I think my core was weak and my 2 yr old was in a body cast for 3 months so lifting her around did a number on my back. I got thru pregnancy #2 without a hitch. I've found doing exercises to strengten the core…

Hi, Just finished Week 3 Day 3 today. On to week 4 on Tuesday. I got on the treadmill this afternoon, turned my ipod on blast - couldn't hear the kiddies crying or calling mommy (they were upstairs with Daddy) - it was a nice break. I'll have to do lots of streching tonight because I found my low back was sore this week -…

Hi! Just sent a friend request...I'm currently doing the C25K with my goal of doing a 10 mile race in July. I've wanted to do it for the last few years but well that didn't happen. But, this is the year! Let me know how your running goes!
-
Hi - You might try spacing out the runs - your body may need the day off in between to rest. The program does have 3 runs/week . Give yourself a full rest day to have your batteries recharged - maybe the day before you start a new week? Are you doing any strength training? Maybe you could do that on non-run days. Your body…

Hi, I'll send you a friend request too - I started a few weeks ago as well. I'm totally loving this website and feeling great!

I can't wait to get out of the 170s either. I'm now at 173 - I can almost taste it! I haven't been that low since 2005...and I have had 2 kids since then, so it's been up and down. Bring on the 160's!!
