I'm in Las Vegas and was sleeved 3/30/16. I'm looking for support and tips on this journey. Great board!

I jumped back on the wagon and had a good first day with food and exercise.

I wear 'em high. My attitude is "everyone should look up to me" : )

Thank you for your input. For my last workout, I tried resistance training first ... then cardio. I noticed the resistance training seemed 'harder' and no difference in cardio difficulty. I'm going to continue resistance first, then cardio ... I'll let you know my results.

Try their frozen chicken mini tacos ... but bake them, don't microwave. 8 of them (2 servings) has 380 calories and 20 grams of protein.

You are an inspiration! What an accomplishment!

In your opinion, what % of our daily calories should be carbs, protein, fat etc for efficient weight loss?

I returned to MVP after being gone for almost 4 weeks. I did a 3.5 mile walk this morning. I'm tracking my food and exercise again.

Senna. Senna is herbal (but should still be used cautiously) and inexpensive.

I've been asking myself similar questions ... 'why' do I long to eat those potato chips when I know what I need to do to lose weight (and avoiding chips is just one thing). 'WHY'? I like 'bad' foods too ... I think most of us do ... they are engineered to taste good to us. But for me, the 'why' goes deeper than 'it tastes…

Sounds yummy! I love apples ... I'm going to make this soon. Thanks!

You should be proud! You look amazing. Sharing your results inspires us all! Thank you!

Wow. That's painful. Thank you for sharing. I'm happy to hear you are back on track. You WILL figure it out!

bump!

You look wonderful ... congratulations on your continued success!
-
Way to go! You are on your way to the 'normal' BMI category!
-
WOW! What amazing results for all your hard work! This is just what I needed to see tonight to keep up my motivation. Thank you for sharing!

You have to look closely at the labels ... but a Greek, fruit blended yogurt has a good amount of protein with not too many carbs. Also, fish has some of the highest amounts of protein and virutually zero carbs! Good luck!

Although it was many years ago for me, I relate to your story. I was an Air Force wife at 18 years of age. Our first duty station was in Germany (we were both from small towns in Ohio) and this was before the days of email and cell phones! Even though the military was a big change for the both of us, it helped us better…

wooHOO!
-
How about a grilled chicken skewer ... something with lots of protein so you feel satisfied?
-
Thanks for the info. I'm going to see if I can find something similar on HULU.

Yum. This is one of my fav breakfasts except I make mine with soy sausage. Also, I beat my egg and cook it in a metal 1 c measuring cup in a pan with a little water (makes a perfectly shaped egg to fit on that muffin!).

I like Trader Joe's Vanilla Soy Protein.

You look fabulous! Thanks for sharing.

I've had great success with calorie shifting. In fact, over the years it has been the only thing to consistently work for me. What is your calorie schedule like?
-
What an incredible transformation! Thanks for posting.
-
Way to go! I bet there are few things that feel better than trying something on you 'think' will be too small, and then finding it is too big!
-
That 20 minutes makes you a better you ... for you and for everyone else. Good luck!
