I'm glad the first couple of links are from Mark Sisson. :) His book is great.

Honestly, that is too obsessive in my opinion. I was almost to that point, but I didn't let myself get that obsessed over calories counting. :)

I believe Cinnamon, just like any herb/spice and natural supplement, is meant to be used over a long period of time to show the biggest effects. :) Sometimes herbs/spices and natural supplements do not show immediate or big results right away, so people think they don't work or aren't worth it. Sometimes it can take up to…

I've been taking Cinnamon supplements since last August. Cinnamon is mainly meant to help your metabolism digest carbs and sugars better, which is why it helps PCOS/insulin resistance. I did notice alot of the sugar and carb cravings went away after the first week, which really helps alot of people. It's great for IR and…

It very well could be the food. If you can afford it, I would recommend feeding something more nutritious and of higher quality. The best food I have found for the money is Diamond Naturals. It's about $30 for a 40lb bag, and the ingredients are great for the price. :) 10x better than anything you can buy at supermarkets.

I feel it after the first few sips.

I would say to continue to rest. You'll get better in no time and be able to exercise again. You shouldn't really be trying to exercise if you can't eat anything anyway. Remember to drink plenty of water and OJ. I hope you get better soon!

I'm still at a plateau, but I think I'll start logging my weight with skinnyr.com every day and see how I fluctuate. :)

It sounds like you are developing an eating disorder. At one point I thought I was becoming obsessed with counting calories, but it was not nearly as bad as yours sounds. If you cannot get it under control, I would suggest visiting a therapist. :) You want to lose weight while making sure your body is nourished and healthy!

Those 1200-1400 are not net calories my friend. My net is usually below 1200, and 1000 on other days. ;)

I understand your point, but don't come preaching to the EDUCATED people who know their bodies and have been successful doing so. I have been eating around 1200-1400 daily, and have successfully lost and kept off 35lbs. YES, when you get to your goal, you need to up your calories to maintain your weight. That is common…

I don't know if I have gluten intolerance, but I definitely don't feel the greatest when I eat too much gluten. In the month of August, I did eat alot more gluten than previous months and didn't lose a pound. Before, I never ate pasta or breads and hardly ate grains, but I let up in August and somewhat regret it. I ate a…

Sorry for being so vague. :) I was just wondering if it would be worth it to buy a bike to ride around on for additional exercise, or if I should just continue walking. I haven't ridden a bike in years, especially for exercise, so I was wondering if anyone has lost weight with regular biking, etc.

Toned/strong looking hands and arms. :D

Thanks for the info. :)

Thank you for all of the kind advice. :) I didn't read too much into other peoples stories about starting C25K, so I may not be losing because of a new routine. I've never had to eat back my exercise calories to lose, but my body may be changing after losing 35 pounds. I will try to consume more calories.

If you do not have willpower, what do you expect to do after the surgery?

Half a cup of Toasted Honey Nut cereal (had milk but didn't drink any) and half a cup of Oikos Vanilla Yogurt with half of a banana mixed in. Yum!

Totally meant to put 5K! I could never run 25K, lol.

I'll def check around and see what I can find! I have a feeling this weekend is going to be busy trying to find a dress that I like. :P Any suggestions on what kind of shoes would go with a bold floral sundress?
-
I will def check around. I plan on going to Ross, Dress Barn and JCPenny atleast. :D I have to get everything ready for his birthday this weekend, because his party is next Saturday, haha. I love those kind of dresses but have never owned one or worn one.

Totally surprised nobody has mentioned Ayu yet, lol.

Put your hair in a bun after your workout, or use dry shampoo/baby powder.

I love stretching my legs the most when they hurt. :)

I understand the idea of this, but unless it's OBVIOUS that the parents don't care, I don't see the point. I was overweight as a child (not obese, but still noticeably overweight) but it wasn't because my parents didn't care. It was because of a medical condition. I dislike when people assume others are overweight/obese…

Versus aspartame and sucralose, I'd say Stevia is pretty damn natural.

Elaborate, please?

Nori is dried seaweed, so not black paper, just dried. :) I snack on it all the time and find it really yummy.

I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, OCD, Agoraphobia, and am a Hypochondriac to some degree. OMG it makes me sound crazy. XD I've been to a therapist, which didn't work well for me. My Dr. mentioned pills for anxiety but never went through with them. I "grew out" of most of my OCD, but I still have some…

If you really want a workout with the Kinect, I highly suggest Zumba and the UFC Personal Trainer. :)
