Darn it! I knew it was too good to be true. Talk about false advertising. The back of the package says sodium is measured in grams not milligrams. Which means it's actually higher in sodium than my regular salt. WOW. Thanks.

I always know my weekends will be bad, so I compensate during the week. I too work out 5 days a week M-F. I work out for 2 or more hours though and DO NOT eat my exercise calories back. Instead I save them for the weekend. It's been working for me :-) and will be something I know I can do for a lifetime.

Are we sure this was Lasik? I had it done as well and best decision ever, but lasik only uses a laser to shape the eye? There is definitely no cutting or flaps involved? My eyes were very dry afterwards as well but that is from the laser re-shaping your eye. Mine was done over 12 years ago now and my eyesight is still…

The first thing I noticed in looking at your diary is that you are eating a lot of sodium. I know MFP says 2500 for a daily, but it really should be kept under 1500. Sodium retains water. The other tips may be to make sure you are logging every calorie eg did you log if you used olive oil to cook something, or were the…

You also have to keep in mind on where you live. I moved to Australia from Canada. I am 2 sizes bigger here in clothing (not weight gain, just clothing size) and when I lived in Canada I was 2 sizes smaller if I bought clothes from the US. Big difference.

Hard to tell with only a face shot. 140 lbs?

It is already counting it if you put active. I myself put sedentary as I work at a desk all day. Then I log any exercise I do on top of that. That said, if you do regular exercise on top of your active work, you should be logging that as well and that will give you more calories to eat.

You can't really be serious right? Eating less than 500 calories is detrimental to your health. Eat at least 1200 calories period.

One day is enough for me. I'm one of those sickos who enjoys the soreness feeling. I love games like tennis and curling because it's fun and doesn't really feel like a workout to me even though it is. I've just started lifting in the last two weeks and am hoping to see some good results from that.

I play 60 min of tennis 4 times/week, 7.5km brisk walk 5 times/week, hill training 3 times/week, heavy lifting every other day, and curling for 2 hours once a week. I will always take one full day off of rest.

I would order a fish, chicken or steak dish. I live in Australia as well and know that the options can usually be chips and salad or veg and mash. I usually opt for salad and veg. I get weird looks sometimes, but whatever. If you can stick to a lean meat and load up on vegetables then it cuts the calories down a lot. I…

Wow, you must be a bundle of joy to be around. In my experience, people who make rash judgements such as this, are really unhappy with their own lives. This site should be about encouraging people not bashing them for no reason.

You lost 8 lbs in 4-6 weeks! Wow that's just under 2 lbs a week. I'm happy if I lose 1/2-1 lb/week. Is there a chance that maybe you were depriving yourself a little too much before? You fall off the wagon for a weekend (we've all been there) and now you don't want to get back on. To me this says that you don't want to and…

I think as long as you are eating your 1200 cal/day, then you have the choice of eating your excercise calories or leaving them in order to lose weight faster. Sometimes you can even save them up for the weekend. As long as you are burning more than you are eating you will lose weight.
