  • Welcome to 2013, where people get butthurt by a virtual friend deleting their friendship. OH NOS THE WORLD ES INDING! Or this guy is an epic troll. In that case you win.
  • Most convenient diet: Steamers Premium Broccoli (microwavable) Rotisserie Chicken / Meat Ken's Steakhouse Ranch Krafts Mayo Siracha Sauce Quest Bars ISOpure protein Mix and match accordingly to your macros.
  • This guy must be trolling. Immediately. I am young, I am not ready for kids. Like most young professionals, we live near downtown to avoid them and suburbia. In fact, whining, crying kids are one of the top things to get me real ticked.
  • Loads and loads of broccoli. Stuff yourself full!
  • You have issues. Get Help. That is all.
  • If you lost 4 lb sorry your weren't doing it right. I can't explain it, might want to get a blood test and see if any irregularities show up. Did you get a DEXA scan before you started to get an accurate LBM? Most people wildly underestimate their body fat, thus screwing up their macros. IE. I thought I was 17% more like…
  • In Keto you are suppose to compliment your stomach cravings with tons of veggies, aka broccoli and company. That's how you stave off hunger, you physically can't stuff more into your stomach + stable sugar levels. (In my experience anyways). Keto is definately not for everyone. Its a lifestyle change. Its for people who…
  • Unless you are a complete noob (noob gains) in lifting, you shouldn't expect any sizable muscle mass increase if at all. 2. I do a lot of LISS (at around 4.0 pace for 45 min-55 min) 5-6 days a week, just to bump up my metabolism but I am sure its not necessary to lose weight.
  • I wish I had your taste buds. I dose my veggies with tabasco / siracha / salt & pepper and stuff it down. Although hot sauce makes anything taste good :).
  • I have a weekend account for my carb ups so it doesnt clutter my "frequently used" items. CarbUpFriday.
  • No 20% under is not a magic number, but its a number where weight loss is much harder then if you were at 30%. The "hard to lose" fat plateau. I still believe though a good diet plan is one that eliminated the cravings all together. If your not hungry and getting your macros whats not to like? Some days I will force eat…
  • No his premise is he can eat pizza / ice cream every day and its no different then eating healthy. Or this gem of post saying high cholesterol is not bad for you as long as you lose weight. (If thats not trolling I dunno what is). I already stated I eat 3000 / 2500 calories Fri / Saturday scarfing all kinds of high carb…
  • Its called using a notebook and inputting at the end of the day: 12 OZ chicken (or nutritional equiv) 2 Packs of Steamers 2 TBL of Mayo / Siracha 80 pieces of almonds each day Total = 1600 calories + PWO. Then again I must be doing something wrong: http://i.imgur.com/XKKY7mk.jpg Please stop trolling people who need help…
  • I agree with this post.
  • Doesn't really matter. Your margin of error is likely to be small with any accurate manual / automatic scale. Stick with one though to keep a consistent record. Also ignore those BF% scales. Way off. Keeps saying I am 11-12% BF. LOL
  • Are you sure your calculation are right. You weigh much lighter then me and I aim for 1800 every day (with PWO). I also don't eat back my exercise calories. What are your numbers? An accurate BF% is essential to get an accurate TDEE
  • Negative, people fail with diets cause of one two things. 1) They set their deficit so low that their BMR shoots way down. When they resume a "normal" diet, their body has trouble adjusting and their weight shoots right back to where they were. How to Solve: CKD, which boosts leptin levels sufficiently to keep your motor…
  • Funny to see a newbie talked about "noobs". Talk to me when you under 20% BF at the minimum. Or when you sustained your weight loss for over 6 months. If you do any research, you'll notice 1 lb "loss" is water weight. You don't magically lose a lb of fat after one night. I "lost" 3 lb after the weekend going back on Keto.…
  • You might want to adjust macros... 20% is not even close to Keto. You should aim for 5%-8% max.
  • If you lift heavy at all, you will notice week 2 on keto with no refeed is horrible. Lifts s)ck and your dieing in the middle of your sets... no real strength. CKD is a god send. Helps me lose consistently and also lift heavy to avoid losing muscle mass. Waking up on Sunday and eating straight no carb makes it easy to…
  • Well considering carbs come from non-animal sources this shouldn't be a surprise at all.
  • 2 kg less from what.... still a high amount of cals IMO. I limit myself to two drinks on the weekdays / 3-5 drinks on the weekends of Rum and diets. All those cals add up, so literally rum and diet is probably the only way i could get by. Just run them off and lift and you'll slow your progress but not that bad.

  • Show me a scientific study involving artificial sweeteners saying the chemicals are "worse" then lets say same amount of glucose.

  • Here's a funny thing about low-carb / keto diet... you get drunk much much faster. These days I can take 3 drinks (rum and diet) and I am "tipsy". Plan ahead in the macros and just "save" 300 calories.
  • DO LISS + lifting is the optimal way IMO. That way you dont exhaust yourself to the point of hurting your lifts.
  • I think its the insulin stability that prevents the hunger... could be wrong though. And that carb up is so dang good for lifts + you really don't gain much weight at all. I did a cheat 3 day weekend and did not gain anything at all... in fact may be down 0.5 lb.
  • My local supermarket has cooked cocktail shrimp at $6.70 a lb. Might be hitting it more often. Just open the container and eat. Cant beat that.
  • Hey now, don't get discouraged. Frankly doing even 0.5 lb a week is good enough for me... I started Keto in April 1st and have lost "only" 8 lbs. Slow and steady is essential to keeping it off... Although according to MFP I am eating 1800 calories a day while theoretically needing 2400 calories to maintain with exercise...…
  • I meet this girl at the bar, got her number, yadda yadda. We decide to do lunch and drinks. During our late lunch, she was absolutely GORGEOUS and looked the part of a real classy lady. Even the waitress came up and said how great she looked (when the date when to the bathroom). Then we decide to come to my place start…
