  • Good for you for getting out there! You are making great progress, and that's something to be so very proud of. Please don't worry about your pace, especially now. My husband bought me a shirt for my last race that says Finishing = Winning. Just remember that and you will do awesome!
  • I really like the Gilad workouts. You can download them from Amazon for $2 per episode as well. I often squeeze them in when I don't have time for much more, or for a bit of strength workout after a run. When done consistently and with increasing weight as you build muscle, I think it's a good option.
  • I'm the same size, and I love the Moving Comfort Maia bra. It hooks in the back (no struggling to get it over your head after a sweaty workout), and I use it for running and aerobics.
  • Next thing you know, you'll be car dancing when you hear your workout songs come on while driving. :-) My kids even know the Jazzercise songs, from hearing them through the kids' room wall, and will start boogying when they hear them.
  • I'm not sure where you are located. In our area, there are several shoe stores that do fittings that I love. In the Kansas City area, we have Garry Gribbles Running Sports and Elite Feet. I have always shopped Garry's for running shoes, and love that they evaluate the way I run, check out my old shoes for wear patterns,…
  • I did for quite some time and loved it! If you like dancing, you're going to love Jazzercise. I recently quit, however, as I needed more options, like weights, pilates, and yoga that the gym can offer. But, I do miss dancing with my friends. Good luck!
  • I haven't tried this personally, but I have read that if you put celery stalks in a cup full of water with food coloring, it will soak up that color. Maybe try that for blue? Good luck!
