I like them because I don't eat a lot of meat myself and was routinely low in protein. I don't agree with the percentages listed, whether a nutritionist said it or not honestly. You can do it. My recommendation... give up most carbs and only eat them before 2pm everyday when you do eat carbs. Carbs are not our friends... at least, they're not mine! LOL Good luck!

There's a company called Fiber 35 I think that as protein shakes if she likes them. Its hard to get a lot of fiber daily and harder still to find in food other than veggies. Good luck!

Protein keeps you full longer, gives you energy and doesn't add to your waist line like carbs do. I increased my protein and decreased my carb %'s. Its good to have at every meal, I think. Carbs make you more hungry and cause cravings, for me anyway. This is only my opinion, I'm not an expert. Do what works for you. Best…

There is no animal on earth that naturally drinks milk from another species. So, why do we? I think she's right about milk for sure... however, I love a good carb now and then! Seriously, limiting carbs really helps me lose weight. Peace! : )

Me too lately. I got back on track today after several days of "cheating". I think sometimes we have to do it and maybe the body wants it. I don't know but I gained three pounds and now it has to go! Let's get it together!!

I have tried it. It is like speed. It made me feel icky and I had heart palps. I was whizzing around all day. Didn't like it myself. I wasn't hungry, but I'm not sure it was worth it.

You can make your dessert however you like, but I LOVE this treat. You can use Stevia plus for a natural sweetener if you like. I personally don't think fats are bad for you in moderation, so I'll stick with cream cheese and nothing else tastes as good! : ) Thanks for the other ideas pals!!!

I'm doing the same thing, staying under 100 carbs a day, except for a free day a week. I eat ham or turkey rolls filled with a Tbs of cream cheese and a dill pickle. I slice it up and its yummy! Pan seared parmesan crusted chicken breast or fish fillet. I fry them in a tsp. of butter for taste. yum. check out my food diary…
