Well, if you only want to work out when you want to work out and do what you want to do and eat the amount you want to eat...why would you want a personal trainer? You're already accomplishing your goals! Don't let the gym pressure you. Hiring a trainer is not "moving forward." It's simply hiring a trainer and not everyone…

They do! Thank you for noticing! :blushing:

Because reasons! Pointing out the obvious is no bigger waste of time than this thread. Which I am willingly participating in...

Point: It. Was. A. Super. Long. Sentence.

 Super long sentence.

So. Much. Math. And now I want some pie.

Sorry! It just irks me that incorrect information posted on the Internet could persuade people to watch each other die for fear of lawsuit. There are worse things than being sued. When my husband and I were maybe 22 years old, we were the first on the scene of a horrible car crash. A woman's car ran off the road and…

I suppose everyone has their own priorities. Yours are just about as far away from mine as humanly possible. And I believe your knowledge of good Samaratin laws is probably lacking, as well. Realistically speaking, if I have enough money to make myself seem worth suing, I have enough money to pay a decent lawyer to get me…
-
Double weird post.
-
Yes, states all have Good Samaratin laws. Some states only protect medical professionals UNLESS the treatment is for a heart condition or CPR, but in this case there is protection. I'm so sad that there are people out there who would rather watch someone die than stick their neck out, regardless.

Murmurs can be heard, as well. If blood isn't flowing properly through the heart, the sound will change.

I've had the One and I currently have the Up...the One is around here somewhere...I lost it in less than a week of owning it. I struggle a bit with which one I like best. I love Jawbone's app. Very informative and pleasing to the eyes. Fitbit's app misses the mark for me, but it does cover the basics. The fitbit's ability…

I love the gym midday, too! It's just me and the elderly people , and we get along just fine. :drinker: I went one time around 6pm. Never. Again.

I just wanted to clarify that I wasn't accusing you of having an ED...just using it as an example. :) Good luck to ya!

Your body can adapt to almost anything - it can even suppress hunger. People who struggle with anorexia don't feel hungry because the body has adapted. Point being, you could have a medical issue OR perhaps you just need to eat more to feel like eating more? It's definitely something I'd speak to your health care provider…

The best way to get over anxiety is to get out there and do what you're afraid of! The more you avoid it, the scarier it gets and the more exaggerated it is in your head. Get out there and be proud of yourself! My best friend is naturally as thin as a rail - 6 inches taller than me and 25lbs lighter. Yes, she gets the size…

Perhaps you should pre-plan your meals so you aren't trying to stuff yourself late at night? I eat when I'm not hungry. If I don't, I can go 5-6 hours without even thinking about it and then suddenly I'm starving and I'll eat two days worth of calories in one evening. So I pre-plan my day and pretty much snack throughout.

If it doesn't work, let me know. I'm small but terrifying and I don't like bullies. :explode:

Oh ok! I was going down my mental list of glute exercises trying to figure out which ones required no leg muscles. I agree with your point...I'm quad dominant (like most non-athletic types seem to start out as) and it's a struggle trying to get myself in balance.
-
What exercises would work your butt without working your legs?
-
Totally behind this idea!
-
Some people can be so extraordinarily unhelpful. Try glute bridges, deadlifts (Romanian works well for me...not much quad action), and squatting wider and using your heels to push up

Hah! Well I'm all good now. I love the gym - I'm oddly sad on my days off. I hired an amazing personal trainer (she outlifts most of the boys there, spends as much time on form as I need, and hasn't put me on a machine once) and I found that confidence that was missing. I do wish I had a gym buddy, but I have no local…

It sucked like losing my virginty sucked. No clue what I was doing, worried how I looked and what people (ok, in the virginity scenario "person") thought, and got out of there as fast as I could. Here's what my tour was like: So, this is the child care area. Blah blah blah 10 minutes about it. This is the group fitness…

There aren't very many situations in life where I get skantily clad and go hang out in the same place as a bunch of strangers and demonstrate how strong, fast, and knowledgable about my body I am. Add in the extra pressure of being a woman and having no idea what you're doing and it's a pressure cooker! My little brother…

There's 20lbs between me and my ideal weight and only a 120 calorie difference between the 2 TDEES. If I ate at or above my goal weight TDEE, it would take me at least a year and a half to lose 20lbs..

So boring, OP. Really, who cares what a bunch of random people in the Internet think. Especially when that bunch of people are arguing over which guesstimation calculator is right. Considering they're all just guesses based on super limited information, I'd say anyone who thinks they have it all figured out that way is…
-
No one would be given 1200 calories because 1200 calories doesn't include exercise and TDEE does....

I never had a knee problem until your videos. Thanks for that. Oh and I WASN'T tired or thinking of giving up until you said "I know you're tired" and "I know you want to give up" over and over again. Them suddenly I thought about turning you off and heading to the bar. I actually had to turn off the sound to get you out…

Mmmm, yes please!
