Like I said before - my doc is abroad for now, and I'm definitely not going to experiment on my own. Although the main idea is I want to quit them all together - just not sure that I'm ready for it as my anxiety varies from moderate to high even on meds, so without them I'm not sure I'd be able to handle it.

Hmmm... Probably not :)

I agree with you, feeling comfortable, pregnancy doesn't help! I am not going to be in denial and claim that I didn't change my diet and level of activity, and that only meds are to blame... I am 100 percent an emotional over eater, a human garbage can and will (or did) binge on big amounts of junk if I was feeling down or…

Thank you for your input! I was diagnosed with severe depression, panic attacks and generalised anxiety disorder (GAD) which was the result of many issues that combined together and led to this horrible state of mind (and body). I have to admit that one of the issues that contributed to my panic attacks was definitely my…

My doctor is abroad at the moment (and has been for the past year), looking forward to making an appointment with her when she's back. To be honest I am too scared of all the horrible side effects of paroxetine withdrawal to try and change to another drug... It's very encouraging reading your posts though! Perhaps I can do…

Congrats on being 'clean'! This is my dream actually, but I'm just not there yet psychologically... What meds were you on? How's weight loss going for you? Something I read regarding my AD was that a lot of people didn't start losing weight after coming off paroxetine until being 6-8 months drug free.

Hello, dearest twin  I'm 30, same height, also started with 298lbs last week, CW 290lbs, and my goal is.... Well, we'll have to see how it goes as my weight loss might be hindered by my AD meds. But I'd love to somehow get under 220...

Hi! I'm on paroxetine, too, but the one I take is called Seroxat. Have gained over 110 pounds since I started taking the pills (around 4 years) - of course, I wasn't as active as I'd been, and I ate a lot of junk. But even when I did try to loose a few - they wouldn't budge! At the moment I'm 136kg (that's about 299pounds)…
