A lot of companies won't include calories from fiber in their total calorie counts. So if you're hitting macros and eating a good amount of fiber, that might have something to do with your calorie counts appearing low.

Quest Bars. Omnomnom.

The only thing stopping me from devouring an entire jar of cookie butter today was the fact I had to go to class. Also, chocolate ice cream (preferably with more chocolate goodies within) will probably be the death of me.
-
I eat breakfast every day. It works for me. But no, its not necessary.
-
I eat chocolate every day, as long as it fits into my calorie & macro goals. I don't discriminate between dark or milk. Today, my chocolate came in the form of Whoppers and dark chocolate peanut butter.
-
I don't log things like a stick of gum or a bite of my boyfriend's sandwich. Too much stress for me. But I tend to eat at least 100 calories under my goal to account for these things.
-
I don't, only because I follow a macro-based diet that already takes my exercise levels into account.
-
I've lost a couple pounds, nothing really noticeable on the scale. Pictures are showing progress though. I've also noticed that I feel a lot stronger and my endurance is a ton better. So I'd say it works. Edit: I'm halfway through week 7, if you were wondering.

That's cool, now pass me over a diet Coke! :drinker:
-
Food scale, definitely.

I know, and I prefer dark to milk, BUT if I want that Reese's egg sitting on my desk, and it fits my goals, I'm gonna eat that too. Unfortunately, I filled those goals with choco-covered pomegranate and jellybeans today, omnomnom.

I eat what I want so long as it fits my calorie/macro goals. I see no reason to give up things like ice cream or chocolate.
-
Food scale. Go by grams.

Back to Nature Chocolate Delight Granola, Bananas, Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk. I didn't expect the granola to be first...there are a lot of things I eat a lot more than that.
-
Stick with it. I gained my first two weeks. By the end of my first month, I only lost a couple pounds. But when I compared my pictures, there was a world of difference.

I'm halfway through month 2. It's a love/hate relationship: I hate the workout, but I love how much fitter I feel!
-
Chocolate.
-
For me, it depends on the situation. If I'm just drinking it, or using it to cook with, I'm all for dairy milk. Usually 1% or 2%. But I love unsweetened vanilla almond milk in my cereal.
-
Nothing wrong with chocolate anything. If it fits my goals, it's healthy enough for me!

I'm halfway through Month 2. My first day or two I felt like I'd never make it through, but here I am. I've noticed a dramatic increase in my fitness levels. Regardless I still take a ton of breaks. Don't be afraid to take them. If you watch it, you'll see that everyone in the video takes unscheduled breaks as well.

If I want chocolate, I'll eat whatever I want to satisfy my craving, so long as it fits into my calorie/macro goals.

I bought a food scale to measure more accurately. I weigh my meat, cereal, cheeses, anything that doesn't come already portioned out. You'd be surprised. I found out that my "1 cup" serving size of cereal carried almost twice the weight the serving size was for. If you want better accuracy, invest in the scale. Even the…

I gave up nothing. As long as it fits into my calorie & macro goals, I'm gonna eat it.
-
I see what you did there.

Lean chicken breast, and canned tuna/salmon will help get you protein with little fat. As mentioned before though, make sure you still include fat elsewhere in your diet.
-
Pop Tarts all the way. I can eat them right out of the package, or they only take half the time to heat up. De-thawing your Toaster Strudel and then trying to mess with that little bag of frosting? Ain't nobody got time for that.
-
I'm in college. I also work part-time, and am involved with a few clubs and my sorority. I'm currently doing Insanity and I make time every day to do it either before or after classes. Or, if I have time in between, I make a point to do it. Sometimes I get up a little early and take a short walk to the gym. Or, I get up…

I'd rather eat them as is. I love hard-boiled eggs!
-
"Clean-Eating" Also, its not a word, but I hate when people throw the number "1200" around like it means everything.

So each spray is a whole calorie? Big whoop. A few extra calories isn't going to kill you. And to everyone obsessing about this one calorie, create it as a new food in your journal as a .9 calorie food and call it a day.
