Hi everyone :) I am going to try and make a more conscious effort to post in the forums from today. I do lurk quite a bit but alot of the time dont post any replies or anything! So yeah, hello and no, i've not really lost any weight to speak of and am feeling fed up because of it (although only myself to blame!). MUST TRY…

OK, today's weight is 243lbs  My goal for the end of April is to get to 233lbs! I soooo need encouragement and motivation so if anyone wants to friend me, please feel free! :flowerforyou:

Wow you look brilliant!! Well done!!

I also joined a gym that has a creche facility so my 3 year old is well taken care of :)
-
Wowsers!!! When do you find the time to sleep?!! :flowerforyou:

I am quite liking Honey Readybrek (I hate porridge) and also Nestle Honey Oats and More. Shreddies are doable too and Weetabix is one of my regular breakfasts! :)

Hello! Welcome! This site is awesome. Good luck! :D

I'm up for this! I desperately need help and motivation to get things going with my so-called diet! :ohwell:
-
I love Pump too and do it 4 times a week! I have added it under the cardio section. I normally burn between 300 and 400 calories a class.
-
There is a big difference!! Well done and keep it up!! :drinker:

Hey no offence taken!! I wasn't looking at women's ones in particular (didn't know they had m/f one - thought they were universal!). I'm not sure i know of any proper sports shops near me that actually sell stuff like that. Looks like I will have to get an XXL one online and hopefully that will fit and do the job!…

But if you're in a class at the gym, how are you supposed to keep your HR "in the zone" without looking exceptionally lazy??! I like to do step and other fast paced classes but i generally keep it quite low due to being really heavy and therefore being at more of a risk to twist my knees etc, but i always work over my zone…

I love a nice strawberry yoghurt with some fruit and granola on top!
-
Me too!! I'm also surprised at how many people actually use peanut butter for more than just putting on toast!
-
What a great idea!! I have a jippy knee at the moment tho so will only be joining you in spirit! Not sure what song in particular i would choose, but it would deffo have to be something along the lines of hard trance or hardcore or something equally dancey!! Have fun!

Yoga or Pilates based exercises would probably be good to stretch out the muscles!
-
Oooo bookmarking! :D

Glad i'm not the onoy one this happens to! I thought my heart rate would stay up because of the effort that i put in, but obviously now i can understand this is not the case so i wont dwell on it.

Heidi - it's set mine to 115-150. I went up to at least 179 during some of the tracks!
-
Ah ok thanx. So it's not a bad thing then, despite the effort I put in! :-)
-
Ah that's great! Thank you!
-
You look gorgeous!! Well done!!

I dont really like cheating at the moment because it's too easy for me to think "sod it, i'll start again on Monday" and it just makes it sooooo much harder to get back on track! Like i said in my earlier post, just the one tiny treat which i allow for in my calories is all that i need to keep on track.

My "cheat day" is a friday night. I buy a very small bottle of wine (250mls - just one glass) and have that with my dinner on a Friday night, after my daughter has gone to bed. I have given up drinking pretty much at all, so restraining myself to one glass is a week is a big thing for me!

I have just bought some lovely ones made by Salter that measure your weight, BMI, body fat% and water %. All for £20 in Asda.
-
Yay!! Go you!! That's brilliant, well done. How are you feeling?
-
LOL!!

Cold turkey, school holidays. Job done. :glasses:
