Good morning! First, I love your handle! From one "kiwi"ish girl to another! You have got this. This forum is an awesome place of learning and support. Just be kind to yourself, set your plan, work your plan, and adjust your plan as your journey progresses! You will do this in steps, and in your time. Just think, several…

I have a recipe for a coffee - cheesecake dessert, just two ingredients - NO added sugar, zero carb - warning - its an acquired taste. Mascarpone cheese (8oz tub) and 4 teaspoons of expresso coffee powder. Just blend/whip with a fork, and serve in 2 oz dollops. makes 4 servings. Rich coffee wonderfulness, creamy cheesey…

Oh, and yes... Like the others have said. Weight is in flux and a pound, even 2 or 3 might show up quickly, and go away in a couple of days too. For me, it takes about 3 days -sometimes 4 - for the scale to return to "my" normal!

Be patient, and kind to yourself..... get right back on to your way of eating, get some sleep, exercise, stay hydrated. One day is all that was. You'll do better today and feel better about it too. It's a learning process, and your progress in health is not linear. You've got this.

Very inspiring! thank you for sharing your journey. I am working on re-comping too. I swim and do bodyweight work. It's impressive to see how your hard work has paid off! Heading out for a swim, on that note.

Working on maintaining. I have a huge healthy weight range of 135 to 155. I started over 250 in 2014. It goes by so fast and yet, so slow too. Working on a maintenance strategy, without fear of gaining it back is my mini goal thru January. I still get paniky at 150ish, and plan my menu to be more generous on carbs about…

Or that you would purchase little turtle neck dickies to wear under your showy tops!

I saw somebody post that it was really easy to alter large shirts, especially if it's a tee shirt. I would just have it altered for the new you so you can continue to enjoy wearing it!

I love the Pascha 100% chips to make my own trail mix. I use almonds or any other of your favorite nuts, with the chips, or add golden rasins if I want sweetness. Good with almonds, macadamias, pecans, pistachios, cashews, pic your fave!

For our 100% cacao fan, a couple weeks ago on Amazon, I was able to order Paschal 100% chocolate chips, about $50 for a 6 ct case of 8oz bags. check it out.

Dr Jason Fung is an excellent resource for IF and EF. I love it, crazy good energy and I feel better when I skip a few meals. Check out Dr Fung's podcasts and interviews on YouTube.

Also keep in mind that as your gutbiome changes, the cravings will subside. Your old sugar gut bugs/colonies can hang around for weeks after you have made a change to reduce your sugar. Kefir, Labne, Pickles/juice, Avacados, Radishes, along with coffee will help your gut bugs get in line. I find sleep is what i need first,…

I enjoy 100% caco -Ghiradelli makes a 100% bar. It is an acquired taste though. I still like 85%, and will enjoy some sugared chocolate on occasion. I am more of a coffee or espresso fan for my treats!

Swim Outlet, Swimsuits for all, and Lands End - all have excellent options for longer lasting swimwear. The higher polyester content suits hold up better, I like the Speedo, Tyr, Longitude, and Land's End the best. I do laps and water aerobics average 8 to 11 hours per week. I'm lucky, cool showers, Cetophil body wash (…

Bacon helps cut the craving for sweets for me. As far a a sweet, that is not too bad, sugar-free jello, but top it off with 1/2 cup of Sigi's 4% Fat - just one half of the 1 cup serving - it's almost like whipped cream or frosting - WITHOUT all the sugar or adding more artificial sweetner. Plus, you get the added benefit of…
