Easter, I can remember feeling so big this time of year, after eating all winter and my skirt would not button. I dont want that this year!

Restaurants are opening up here and I went to a buffet and messed up. Next time I will have no desserts there because I got carried away. Main thing is I didn't just throw in the towel and give up. I got right back on track today, saying I am human I do mess up and journaled some about why I overate yesterday and made a…

I had the second shot, felt really tired for one day but that was it.

what a difference, you look great!

I wanted M&M's, I thought well maybe grapes would do, biggie for me. I was feeling stress and I use to always go to junk food.

every morning, I know a lot of people say not to weigh daily but I dont think 20 lbs could get away from me if I do, makes me accountable. Been doing this for a year now after I gained 25 lbs.
-
most of us that get heavy are emotional eaters. Did you comfort yourself with food. I know I do when sick, stressed or celebrating, etc. I have found I have to go to more positive things or did you just love food and no emotions in it?

trying on clothes at the mall, getting with the big group I use to have at the gym, now there is only 9 people allowed. Going to the dentist, movies, beach trip, going to festivals here in town again.

I went for my walk and forgot my mask (allergy time) and turned around and this lady said she had one and gave it to me and then she says You Look So Fit! It made me feel good, I said yea I go to the gym every morning and try to eat healthy.

I think a 5 lb leadway sounds good. You may be too hard on yourself. I am staying about 5 lbs more than I want to also but I guess I am not willing to eat less food or give up some of my carbs. Congrats on keeping the weight off. All of us are different, I like weighing daily. I know where I stand. One time I didnt weigh…

you can delete all of them (wish I could do this in real life, lol) and start adding new friends. Congrats on your weight loss.

I am 67 and I know what you mean by cold weather, so tired of it. I made myself bundle up this winter and did pretty good. Here comes a man up the street with a walker so I thought if he can do it. I do feel better keeping that weight off, it is sneaky, creeps up fast.

I logged for 8 years now, not while on vacation for couple of weeks every year. A flu got me 3 years ago and I gained 25 lbs, really sick but as you can see I eat when I am sick. Had to work like the devil to get that weight off after a couple months of not logging like someone said life happened and I messed up. I had to…

me too, was not eating out like I use to. Had time to track my calories and journaled, worked on my emotional issues. Realized food is not comfort or doesnt reduces stress. I realized I needed to go to something positive to release my stress and give me comfort. So bikeing and walking/run helped a lot. This was the first…

La Banderita carb counter flatbread at Krogers, 45 calories, 4gr carbs. I use this when I went to Burger King and took off their bun and had this. Great way to have a whopper and wont gain weigh!
-
that is great you did the positive thing after your Dad died, so many go the other way. Congratulations!

reminding myself how damaging this extra food is to me. Also I did keto last week and now know that is too hard for me, went back to what I know works, low carb 100 gr. Feels good to know what I can live with and keep the weight off.
-
I have a little talk with myself telling me how damaging that food is, do something positive!

I made up my mind not to gain over the holidays and the winter and covid. It was hard but so glad I did, 40 lbs off for 3 years. Everyone kept saying they were gaining weight blaiming covid so I decided I wont go to food for comfort, go to something, anything positive.

deciding why I can do this rather than why I can't. Then drank water and more water until the next meal.

I listened to Glenn Livingston on the internet and it is very good, check it out. Binge eating no more. He has a lot of short videos to listen to.
-
My motivation is I appreciate feeling great! Dont want to go back there 40 lbs heavier, I felt miserable, I am short and it really showed. I love being able to wear my clothes.
-
I finally decided I had rather be stressed and thin than stressed and fat. I am finally realizing all this food is not good, it is good at making me miserable.

cheerios and almond milk, yogurt, meat, 1 small bag of chips, eggs, turkey bacon, hard boiled eggs, pepperoni.
-
I ate a bit too much earlier so tonight I am having baked cabbage with some turkey bacon on top. Yum, and a great way to keep the calories down.
-
wow that is quite an accomplishment, 100 lbs is a lot. Did you emotionally eat and have to work out stuff or just change your diet? Any time I had a problem I would think I had to eat like that would make it better and it always made it worse.
-
a lot of hard, work, congrats. I am 67 years old and just now realizing how this food is a trick not a treat. It seems good but it is destroying me!
-
I dont know if you are keto or low carb. I do low carb, 100 gr or less and it has worked great for me. I lost weight fast, 40 lbs. My life savers was finding low carb wrap, 3gr 35 calories from Krogers. and I do eat a small bag of chips, 16 carbs. I also have a mini kind bar, 8gr and the rest is healthy, meat and more…

wow everyone is gaining, what motivated you?

I am 5'4 and weigh 160, I was 208 so this is good. I guess I am not that small framed because this is good weight for me and I can wear small size. I can wear 10, 12, sometimes an 8 in jeans willl fit. But even when I was 208 lbs I wore sz 14 tight. For some reason I wear small sizes. I have friend who weighs only 135 and…
