I lost 30 lbs in 4 months, 190 to 160, seems like I always do it in 3-4 months but keeping it off is the problem. This time I am weighing every day so 20-30 lbs doesnt creep back on without me noticing it.

You look great and I thought yep I want some cake, just log my calories!
-
nothing feels better than the loose capris I wore today, decided to split the choc chip cookie with husb at Subway, decided it was not worth it to eat the whole thing, different for me.
-
yes, me too, cant log food
-
I love my gym and all my gym friends, all the classes like Zumba, so much fun. I guess I am lucky that way.
-
I lost 40 lbs and gained back 30 of it 2 years ago after a bad flu, then felt better and ate everything in sight. You can do it, you did it before, get your mindset back. I know how depressing it is, I have been there.
-
I lost feeling sorry for myself, I feel great now and my self esteem is so much better.
-
wow, did you watch your carbs, eat a lot of protein, what main things did you do, you look great!
-
once a day in the morning, dont want 10 or 20 pounds to creep back on me like it has before.
-
for me it is not enough protein and I drink water at night when I get hungry
-
yes count calories and log but but the problem for me is all the temptations around, not easy but worth it. It is just making yourself behave and not get carried away. So many people gain the weight back because it does take effort. I log and weigh every single day.

I was driving home thinking it is so nice not to unbutton my pants, they use to be so tight, now everything is comfortable or big, great feeling.
-
I think you look perfect, how tall are you? what a diffrence 20 lbs makes.
-
All my clothe fit nice, some a little loose, wow this is wonderful when everything I had I could not breathe when I wore my clothes, had to unbutton jeans and stuff all the time, especially in the ride home from somewhere.
-
you look great where you are, 5 years dropping weight is great! I dropped 40 five years ago, put 25 back on 2 years ago but got it off again. Dirn flu, then ate everything in sight. Guess I thought food would make me better or something but it made me fat.
-
logging since 2013 and it is the only way I can keep my weight down, that and weighing daily. I love to eat and dont seem to have a full button, wish I didnt have to but it is better than getting fat.

I lost 40 lbs 5 years ago, got a flu 2 years ago and ate everything in sight after I got better, gained 10 lbs, my scales got off and 10 lbs higher and I got mad and gained another 5, so gained 25 of it back. So depressing, I bought new scales, now I weigh daily, lost all the weight logging and watching carbs, 100 or less…

Good for you, I have a family like that also, dont let them drive you to overeat!
-
what kind of stuff keeps you full? meat, peanutbutter, this is mine. What you are doing is working.
-
It takes God's strength to be able to do this, it is such a stronghold, you are an inspiration.

maybe it is good to have fear so we will be cautious. I dont know, I have the fear also but my weight is off, that is the main thing.

I hate a slice of pizza this morning, sort of, ate the toppings off and just a little of the crust, new for me!
-
I am honest and say I wish I could eat like that but I cant, takes me too long to get the weight off. Or just simply no thanks. I dont have a hard time with this thank goodness. I know I am the one who has to wear the weight.

I have been watching my weight since I was 16, husb did not get fat til he was 50, his legs hurt, etc for excuses. He doesnt do a physical job any more. He is not a bit interested either. My first husband was a drinker. I swear it would be harder to change an overeater than a drinker.

letting go, lets say decluttering, accepting family is so dysfunctional, letting go of the stress. Stress can kill you and cortisol, make you gain weight. Just did a lot of work to my house and that was stressful but you cannot escape all stress. Realizing this too shall pass. I hate uncomfortable feelings but realizing I…

need to fit in my white pants and white shorts!

My friend did this and did really well. It is a bit strict for me but whatever works. I do low carb, 100gr or less and that is my thing. But I do have cravings at times.
-
I was able to lose my weight with 100 carbs or less, 40 lbs but some people eat much less carbs, do what is best for you.

I have had my weight off for over 2 years, lost 40 lbs. I go to the gym 5 days a week or walk/run outside. I really like exercise though. I had my weight off for 5 years but got a flu 3 years ago and gained weight after eating everything in sight afterwards and my scales got off 10 lbs, very depressing and I gained another…

I cut my carbs. I eat 100 gr or less and it seems I am not as hungry. It worked for me. I log my calories and weigh daily. I lost 40 lbs.
