Well I work in a gym so when it's slow/nothing is going on I literally just work out. It's super nice to have all the time to dedicate to fitness but it won't be like this forever lol if I can start figuring out calculating now though it'll make things easier for the future I think I'm going to get a HRM though, thanks…

Since we give MFP our age and weight do you think it takes that into consideration at all on the calories or is it the same for everyone?
-
That's what I did but it gave me about 900 calories for 2.5 hours and that seemed like a lot. I actually did it for about 3 hours but I took out some time for rests and a little bit of distraction since I always work out with two other people so 900 seemed like a lot. Part of me thinks that working muscles would naturally…

I'm doing it at the gym I work at, and a couple of the guys want to participate in the cross fit shows I guess but we are all kind of beginners/experimenting. What are your eating habits doing it?

I have ALWAYS had this problem and it's a huge reason as to why I had gotten chubby. I still struggle with this, and I'm a personal trainer, so I feel so so so so guilty sometime but for some of us the binging and the temptation is a REAL problem, but I have made huge strides with BABY STEPS. I started by limiting myself…

I agree;age is definitely not a concrete factor. I guess I was solely thinking along the lines of those who are overweight and a little older than someone in their late teens/twenties. It's not a main priority and evaluations are always taken with new clients. And calorie counting is always a discussion! I have a solid…

Again- I'm new. And after some observing/working with other trainers I saw things I thought that worked and what didn't, however, I'm not the one on the other end of it. That's why I wanted input on what things you like doing or don't think work, etc. You'd be surprised how often clients don't tell their trainers the truth…

I'd say just do something light! Such as a short jog or something. Keeps you motivated and doesn't put much strain on your muscles after a long week of exercise :]
