I think there is a big difference between male and female metabloism....Being a female in my later 40's I have to stay at around 1200 calories and work out to lose anything at all...I am envious of those of you who can eat more and still lose but it doesn't work that way for me...I havr quite a few friends who are regulars…

Ok...I am new to the strength training. I know it is important to eat enough calories and protein the problem I am heving is that I can only manage to eat my basic 1200 calories I get on average 50 or more grams of protein but I go way over on the sugars....I do not eat processed foods but even fruit veggies and granola…

You are not alone...I cannot embrace the treadmill like I do outside running....so I do a higher incline and face paced walk but looking forward to spring if it ever gets here so I can go back to running outside...

same thing happened to me I gained 3 pounds the first 2 weeks than all of a sudden I lost 8 net loss of 5 but, I think it takes a body a a few weeks to realize that you mean business. Just keep going...I did not change my caloric intake at all just kept to the 1200 or less a day and continued to work out and it is starting…

multi grain crackers with laughing cow light creamy swiss cheese chese is only 35 calories per wedge...You have to read the labels but there are some really good crackers to choose from low in calories...I also use the laughing cow on baked potatoes, bagels, and almost anything you would normally put butter on...delicious…

try to choose a restaurant that offers their cravings but also some healthier choices like a smoothie in place of a milkshake skip the fries and one slice of veggie pizza can fit your plan. i have the same problem especially when I go home to visit.( I recently relocated). I am having the same problem. Seems like no matter what I do I go over the sugars so I am just doing the best I can with everything else and watching the sugars on the foods I eat when I decide what to eat but not worrying about staying under 25 as it is not possible.

I would say the person who wants to have social hour....I walk at a fast pace usaully 4 or 4.5 and incline of 12. I really hate to be rude but I would have to slow down incredibly to chit chat...I am normally a people person but my gym time is limitied and I need to make the most of it...so I pretend no tot speak…

I have used the recipe function...it worked well and then I could save that recipe to use again. I cook almost all of my meals from scratch so I know the challenge well.

I hav ethe same problem....I have found that I need to stay busy...Now I have a light snack and go to the gym. Than have a reasonable dinner and get out a good book or work on a craft. If i am not busy I am eating......
