Same here! I have hit a plateau, just need to lose 10 more pounds. Going to give up all alcohol and stay at 1200 calories, and doing Jillian 5 days a week. Hoping it will work. Add me as a friend if you like.

You can add me, I have a 3yr old and 1yr old.

You can add me. I am a Mom of a 3 yr and 1 yr old. :)

I am 5'3, pre preg weight of 125. I've been stuck at 140 for months. I have found when I exercise daily, drink lots of water, and stay around 1200 calories, I lose weight. I just mess everything up on the weekends. I need to quit doing that. Add me as a friend if you want. :)

Yes, I use GNC lean shake 25. I drink one for breakfast each morning. It has good fiber and 25 grams of protein. And I'm full till lunch. I like chocolate best. You can get it on Amazon pretty reasonable.

I wouldn't be able to function like this. I get shaky and lightheaded with too few calories. That's no way to live.
-
Or even better take your weight, divide in half and that's how many ounces you should drink.
-
I thought coffee was dehydrating and that for every 8oz coffee you need to drink 8 oz water to offset it?

Right, I know HRM's are not perfect, but like pp said, they're good for cardio. Maybe not so much strength training. My HRM shows calories burned much lower than mfp, because the HRM takes into consideration your age, weight and height. I also agree about weighing food, it is so easy to under estimate how much food you're…

Why would any man want to be 130 some pounds at 5"10? You said you're at 153? That even seems low. I'd go for eating more and lifting weights. You should be at 170-190.

I think Chris Powell promotes carb cycling, maybe check out one of his books. But really if you want to get toned, start lifting heavy weights 3 times a week. You will lose fat, gain muscle, and probably maintain the same weight.

My husband and I are separated right now. It has been a stressful few months, so I totally understand. I know there is a lack of motivation to do anything. You have to make yourself get out and exercise, I promise you will feel so much better after you do. I have been back exercise for 2 weeks and even though I still have…

I have been having heart palpitaitions on and off for a few months. Going through major personal stress, which explains most of it, but I quit coffee for 2 weeks, upped my magnesium and then went away. As soon as I started drinking coffee they were back. I guess I need to quit coffee for good.

I am 5'3 and pre babies I was 125. Right now I'd be happy with 130. I have lost 30lbs since having my son last year, but I have 10 more to go. Feel free to add me. :)

The sound of his jaw popping while chewing made me gag.
-
Thanks ladies. I have been forcing myself to get out and exercise and I admit I feel so much better afterwards. I just need to keep motivated.

I have been using the GNC Lean Shake 25 once a day as a meal replacement. I was stuck at a plateau and after 2 months of doing the shakes I finally lost 5 lbs. It definitely helps cut calories and still provides good nutrition. And the GNC brand tastes very good. If the you get the Lean Shake 25, it has the added protein.

I agree, they are very high in sodium. And one of those meals aren't really filling because there's so much pasta or rice vs veggies and meat. You can make your own healthy meals and freeze them in lunch sized containers.
-
Thanks, no I have not been eating any canned soups. I watch my sodium, and I drank a ton of water yesterday, along with tracking calories. And this morning, I've only lost a pound of the water weight. Hopefully it will be back down this weekend.

Get a nice spray tan and put on the bikini. You always look thinner tan. :)

I've been sabatoging my weight loss with alcohol. When Friday hits, all I want is to relax with a few cocktails. I want so badly to lose this last 10 lbs. I need willpower!!
-
I keep my carbs at 30%, I eat a lot of eggs, meat, veggies, and salads. Just stay away from bread, pasta and potatoes, those are highest in carbs.

Love these.

Pineapple. I love it cold but not in warm stuff.

Correct

No such thing as a healthy smoker. Just because you can't see the damage doesn't mean it's not there. I am an ex-smoker who is finally getting healthy.

Doesn't look very happy.

Good Morning Vietnam, Awakenings, and What Dreams May Come

Wow, great job! You can really see the difference.

Thanks! I don't think I would like T25 then. I love JMBR because it mixes weights and cardio. I can do plenty of cardio running or using my elliptical, I would rather try a program that was mostly weight training.
