Thanks ladies. I did Jillian's body revolution after my first child, and I got down to 134 and was in pretty good shape. Now with my second child turning 2 soon, I have really been slacking. I was 125 pre baby, but I'd be happy with 130. I just want to be healthy. Didn't help I over indulged this past holiday season, too…

I hear you! I have been holding onto the last 10 pounds for almost 2 years now. I am so fed up. I really need to focus on diet and exercise. Now that the holidays are over I really have no excuse.

I am 5'3, have lost about 40 lbs since having my son last year. I am at 138, with a goal weight of 130.

3 lbs in 2 weeks. I don't have a lot to lose, but after hitting a plateau for months, LCHF seems to be working. I have 8 lbs to go until goal weight.

Well I swapped out my low carb ice cream bar in exchange for a few vodkas tonight. I'm still within my calorie limits and I always push a lot of water before bed so I don't typically get hangovers. I'm from Wisconsin so I'm pretty experienced in that haha. I don't drink like I used to, but on occasion I do like to unwind…

I plan ahead too. I fill in my diary and then I have all the yummy food to look forward to and I really eat it when I want. Whether I eat my lunch for dinner or vice versa. I am also doing low carb, high protein and fat, and it keeps me full longer. Might be an option for you? My macros are 10% carbs, 60% fat, and 30%…

I've been at 25 net carbs or less for 5 days and I still show neg on the ketostix. Only once did it show a trace. I wonder how accurate they are. I have lost 3 lbs, but that is probably water weight.

I am having the same issue. I am on day 5 of LCHF. I have my macros set at 10% carbs/60% fat/30% protein. I've lost 3 lbs in 6 days so I know it's working. But even with drinking a ton of water, I am still getting hungry. I'm also having trouble getting enough fiber without going over in carbs. Not giving up though.

I just finished the 1st book, chocolate chip murder. I was disappointed that the 2nd book was not part of Kindle Unlimited. But there's a few from this series that are, including the first book. I wasn't super impressed with the 1st book, it was a little slow moving at first. What do you think of them?

If you get into ketosis, you body burns fat instead of the glycogen from the carbs you eat. From what I've read you need to eat very low carbs, under 25 net, and high protein/high fat for about 48 hours to get into ketosis. I don't go by MFP either. I use a HRM, it is based off my age, height, and weight. Seems much more accurate.

You can me too. I'm 5'3, 140, trying to get down to 130. Staying at 1200 calories too.

Usually about 2 pounds. And it's usually a day or 2 after it stops that I drop the 2 pounds. Like from yesterday, I dropped 2 pounds overnight, whether it was from drinking more water, eating fewer carbs, or my body releasing water from getting over the time of month, who knows. But I'll take it!

I prefer 3 meals and a snack. I usually do a meal replacement shake for breakfast, then a big nutritious lunch, and a smaller, low carb dinner. I will usually eat one snack, usually a frozen fruit bar or string cheese. I hate waiting 5 hours to eat a meal.
