I am having the same issue. I have been doing low carb for about 2 months, but this past couple weeks, I have felt kind of sick on and off all day. (I am not pregnant). And tired. I think I'm going to up my carbs a little bit.

 I just did measurements and I lost an inch off my hips and chest!

Yep, and I love that they are closed on Sundays to allow their employees to have family time. Hobby Lobby is like the Target of craft stores. People actually put clothes on to shop there (vs pj's). LOL.
-
Exactly. I do like Michael's coupons, but they never seem to have any cashiers available. Sundays were always family day in my household, we can all survive a day without shopping.

That could be. I did 1/2 hour of Jillian Michaels, not once during that time did it say I did a vigorous exercise. But then it showed vigorous exercise after I vacuumed the living room - WTH. I think I'm going to get rid of the arm band and just use my HRM. At least I know my TDEE now and can reduce from there.

Chicken, fish, lean pork or beef, and lots of steamed veggies.

I cut way back on carbs, I stay below 50 - but only because it has helped me cut calories which is what leads to weight loss. I feel fuller eating more protein/fat, so I eat less. It also killed my cravings for sweets. Eat less calories than you burn and you lose weight.

Yes, get a heart rate monitor. I have a Polar FT4 and love it. MFP is not accurate.

I am 5'3 and apple shaped, so I gain in my back, tummy, and hips.

I tend to eat non breakfast stuff for breakfast, who says you have eat eggs... You could cook up a bunch of chicken, add that with cheese and salsa on a low carb wrap. Very filling and low carb.

Thank you all for the suggestions! Right now I am doing 30 minutes per day of Jillian's 90 day program which is a mix of strength and cardio, and then when that is done I hop on the elliptical for another 10-15 minutes. I do this 5 days a week. I would much rather do straight strength training 3 days per week and some…

We do camper packs alot. You can make them pretty healthy. Take meat, cut up potatoes, peppers, onions, mushrooms, season everything. Then take your foil and coat with coconut oil. Add the food, seal and cook over fire. You can do chicken, hambuger, steak, pork, whatever you want.

Agree! I use Optimum Nutrition whey powder, Extreme Milk Chocolate is super yummy mixed with unsweetened almond milk. I have one everyday after I work out.
-
Careful with #5. Do this very gradually and drink plenty of fluids or you could end up with a blockage.

I'm 5'3, 155 lbs, body fat is around 33%. Goal weight of 130 and around 23% body fat. Hoping to get there by fall.

I am doing low carb and have no issues staying at around 50 net carbs. (total carbs minus fiber). I eat alot of meat, veggies, and almonds. And I stay at under 1500 calories and workout an hour a day 5 days a week. It is a great way for people to lose weight who are insulin resistant. Make sure you are getting enough fiber…

You can add me. I am 5'3. CW is 155. I just had my 2nd baby in March and gained 50 lbs with him. I still have about 25 lbs to go to get to my goal weight. Weight loss has been slow but I'm not giving up!

I do a 14 hr window. I fast from 6pm till 8am. (I also go to bed early and get up early so this time frame works for me.) I just started this 2 weeks ago, but I'm down 3 lbs in those 2 weeks.

Thanks! I am looking for something I can have for breakfast, not just as a snack, so this would be perfect.
-
Thanks, I will try this!
-
And where is the nutrition on this one? Does everyone on here need to be so sarcastic?
-
Optimum Nutrition Extreme Milk Chocolate. I shake that with unsweetened almond milk after my workout. It's delish.
-
Maybe I should clarify. I'm looking for recipes.

I had my 2nd baby on March 23rd. I am 5'3 and topped out at 185 lbs. I am now down to 156, and still need to lose 25 lbs to get back to original pre-baby weight. I am doing Jillian's Body Revolution along with my elliptical 5 days a week. It's coming off very slowly. But I'm determined to meet my goal by this fall.
-
5'3 and 125 lbs is a very healthy weight. If you're working out and eating healthy, I doubt you will lose much more, and you might even gain due to muscle gain. I am 5'3 and trying to get back to 130.
-
130lb at 5'3 is a great weight. I am 5'3 and that is my goal weight. When you're already at a healthy weight, it's pretty hard to lose more.
-
You can add me too. I am almost 36, I have a 2yr old daughter and a 10 week old son. I am trying to get rid of the remaining 25 lbs of baby weight!
-
Ok, I think you may be right. I will start weighing all of my food...
