i went to a PT for a month and he told me i would always have a problem with my ankle because something shifts out of place and they can't fix it?! but before i went i was overcompensating and my hip was much worse. now it only cramps up when i exercise!

thanks everyone! i actually don't run or do anything high impact because i have a bum ankle. i like to do leslie sansone's walk at home dvd because it's a great workout, without messing with my ankle. even walking quickly cramps up my hip! i'll have to try your suggestions, though

i am not sick of it yet.. i had the app on my phone though. i sort of get excited to see how much everything is going to add up to be at the end of the day.. and now that i'm exercising i can't eat enough to get back to my net calories! which i'm now turning into an excuse for why not to exercise.. haha.

i always look at the nutritional facts at the restaurant or online to get an accurate number of calories. if MFP doesn't have it in their database, i add it myself. i'm trying my best to not guess on calories.

most people have a difficult time eating their 1200 NET calories. some days my total calories before i subtract my exercise calories is 2000 or more. not everyone is the same type of eater as you are. that doesn't make them anorexic. you said you could eat 1200 calories in a single meal.. i can think of few HEALTHY meals…

it definitely sounds to me like you are not eating enough. you SHOULD be eating back the calories you burn exercising. If you eat a total of 1200 calories and don't exercise for the day, GREAT! i would say it's just fine. any exercise is good exercise. i just joined a gym that is open 24 hours. i suppose it could just be for business, but if a gym is willing to endorse working out at any time of day/night then it can't be terrible, right??

My stats are EXACTLY the same! If you don't mind my asking, what is your current net caloric intake set at?? I just feel like the 1200 net calories that MFP recommended is too low??

I did the calculations and my TDEE is about 2350!! Seems to me like 1200 calories a day is WAY too low when I only want to lose a total of 20 pounds.
