My life went from me weighing 192lbs with no action whatsoever to walking 1 lap at the track for a couple weeks, to a couple laps, to joining a gym a working my butt off and actually breaking a sweat. I can now go upstairs in my house without losing my breath.

I don't eat anything "low fat" or "lite"

I am very accurate about my food, everything. But when I started watching what I was eating, I was drinking 5-6 20oz Mt. Dews a day (sometimes more) and 2000+ calories. I was eating late at night and in the middle of night. I wasn't a big chocolate eater or sugar eater, but carbs are my weakness. I love my breads =( I was…

I try not to eat my workout calories either. But I'm also not on the 1200 goal either. For some reason I am eating less and not anywhere near hungry. I'm thinking that is going to be an issue very soon but I'm hoping I can continue to lose the weight. I've gotten to where I'm getting about 800-900 calories and A LOT OF…

I have hope now! I can live with a little pouch but what I have now just disgusts me...of course it's been 14 years since I had my last baby so I'm hoping my body adjusts to the weight loss
-
I hope so too cuz I took my before pics today and that pouch is a very frustrating blocker that could knock me off my goals if it doesn't change....and I don't want it too
-
Feel free to add me....I think my diary is open to friends =)

I just did Day 1 (got it off YouTube) and OMG!!! I can see why people are losing inches!
-
It's the 30 Day Shred (30DS) with Jillian Michaels from Biggest Loser and from what I have read it's a really good workout....I've considered buying it myself and just wanted everyone else's opinion before I spend the money for it
-
Thank you =)
-
Definitely sounds like something I may want to start....because I want to tone and lose inches and just look better too
-
4 inches off your waist after 10 days!! WOW! That's definitely a plus
-
Way to go! I am on here daily and try to reply or post at least once a day so feel free to add me =)

I've lived in Alabama my whole life and I can tell you that it wasn't always like that. When I was growing up here, it was still hot as hell in the summer but we got up, had our breakfast and went outside to play. We didn't want to stay inside anytime, because being outside and playing was what we knew. Luckily, my family…

I haven't told myself that I can't have anything except Mt. Dews. If I want something sweet, I will eat it because if I don't, I will fall off this diet and gain back everything I have lost. And by having the option to have the sweet, I haven't had the cravings as bad as thought I would....

Hi. Feel free to add me cuz as others have said, strength in numbers =) I have been on this site a couple of weeks, started with the iphone app, and I love it. It keeps up with every calorie I take in and has had every food I have searched for. Good luck with your goals =)
-
I try to have something sweet about once a week....cuz otherwise, I would go crazy and this 1200 calories per day would never work for me =)
-
I was thinking it may have been too drastic but so far, I've not been jittery or sick or feeling any side effects to the drop in calories. And honestly, I thought losing my Mt. Dews would affect me more =)
-
Honestly, I just got lazy. Oh, and I couldn't give up my Mountain Dew. I mean, 5-6 20oz Mt. Dews per day. And then I realized that I was missing out on a lot of picture moments with my family because of the way I looked. So, I have replaced the Mt. Dew with water and the sitting on the couch all day every day with going to…

I would burn usually between 400-600 calories in a workout

Dora here =)
-
If you don't mind my asking, how long did it take you to lose that?
-
I'm hoping to lose 60 pounds by the end of June =) I started February 4th and so far I lost 12 pounds, got sick, couldn't go to the gym and was couch bound and eating junk for 8-9 days so I gained it back =(
-
I'm looking at a long term healthy lifestyle change. And I know once I see a difference on the scale, I won't be so frustrated...it's just getting to that point. Thanks for the input =)

Hi. I have been sick so I haven't been to the gym in days =( but when I was going, I was going every day, 20 mins on elliptical, 20 mins on bike, 5 mins on stairclimber, 30 mins of weights (one week on arms then the next week on legs), then I would finish up with 10 minutes on the treadmill
