  • Never freaking mind. Just delete the dang entire post since it won't let me. I have spent too much time editing that damned picture and still getting kicked off MFP when I try to fix it. It really shouldn't be this hard to post a pic.
  • I sincerely hate photobucket and I am a wee bit pissed that MFP kept kicking me off the board while trying to edit the damned post.
  • I just did W2D1 last night and I have been using 3.0 for walking and 4.5 for jogging. I used to do 5.0 for jogging but found I could not get through it . So I dropped just a bit and that seemed to be enough for me to still work at finishing but not so much that I was hurting myself. Also glad I am not the only one using…
  • Awesome! It's one of those things that I don't want to overdo it or do it too soon, ya know? I will get my butt signed up for one and do it!
  • Not saying I am unhappy with doing it. I am just being honest in that it went badly. No reason to not be honest and admit it.

  • I mean bad as in I could only run every other time I was supposed to run. And I am not treating it as a penalty to redo the day, it's getting myself up to where I can make it through the regime for that day.

  • I just started this as well! I am fundraising for March For Babies and I have made the promise that if I reach my goal of $200 before the walk on April 20th, I will run the 3 miles. I also said that if my team reached $1000 I would shave my head bald but THAT is for another thread LOL! Anyway first day went bad. I have…

  • I work full time, I am clergy, and I have children. Between work, religious work, charity work, my kids, and my own hobbies I am quite busy. I find a calendar very helpful. Not only do I make sure things get done but I can also keep my sanity balancing it all. One thing I do is factor in transit time for everything. If I…
  • I would say anytime I eat out. My favorite burger at Chili's is a Southern Smokehouse Burger. That one burger exceeds my calorie goal for the day. So although I may have enjoyed devouring one, I don't enjoy logging it and seeing how I wrecked my efforts for the day. I am fortunate in that I have cut down on how often I eat…
  • I am in the camp of "I motivate myself". I have learned that I cannot rely on those around me because they would rather belittle my efforts than really support me. I am responsible for going to the gym and loving the body I have been given. I am responsible for the food choices I make. So I will be the one that motivates…
  • Actually you did when your 3rd post on the thread is "I thought this was a place of support". Why would you throw that out there if you weren't looking for support?
  • I haven't read all the responses so I have no idea if I am being repetitive, forgive me if I am. A few years ago I was attempting to wean myself off of red meat and moving towards healthier eating. Morningstar Black Bean burgers were my life line for when I wanted a burger really bad and I used them to substitute. Granted…
