I'm hooked too, this just makes it way too easy to keep up with it all. I'm not one to write it all down and keep track of things but I will do this! Good luck to you on your journey. :flowerforyou:

Wow - I'm amazed! I'm taking in 1500 - 1600 a day and losing about 1-2 lb a week for the last few weeks, 6 total so far. I'm older though and not really so active. So, I'm really tickled for you! Sounds like you're doing great!

Good for you GeminiSam! I'm close to that amount of a loss and I'm getting happier by the day.. When I get past a certain number I'm gonna do the happy dance!! LOL

Your BMR is your "basal metabolic rate", it is how many calories you use in your resting state. For instance, if I use 2000 calories a day just sitting and breathing... I need to cut 500 calories a day to lose 1 lb. a week. (3500 cal= 1lb.) I should be able to reach that goal taking in 1500 calories a day. Did this help…

I've picked Friday for my weigh in day of the week. I love the food tracker, it's really making it easy for me even eating out at Wendy's is easy to track. I've decided to go to the gym and start on the treadmill 3x a week for starters. I'm very out of shape because I don't move much at the job and I'm away from home 12…

I have found that to be a true fact khrys1. At one time, I had a SEVERE craving for peanut butter. I ate only one serving of it and a few days later my body decided to release 5 pounds. I was soooo happy! I'm learning to listen to what my body asks for, whether it be protien or carbs, etc. BTW - bless your heart…

Is there anyone here over 50 that has as hard a time as I do losing a pound or two? I need a friend to help keep me focused... do you?

You're doing a great job! This post inspires me to go on and do this for myself!! :flowerforyou:
