  • Thank you thank you thank you to those who had super helpful comments! The post-8pm thing - before starting on this healthy eating kick I found that this was the time of day I really craved sweet things and crisps, and I just thought since it was the most sedentiary time of day it would be doing me no good eating late at…
  • However I also did a tonne of cleaning tonight so have burned loads of calories, plus I weighed in this afternoon and have lost 3.4lbs in 8 days! I am rewarding myself with a cup of hot chocolate and an early night! Heard a rumour you burn calories sleeping so here goes... :-)
  • First off, wow Nicole that sounds amazing! Good luck and let us know how you got on! Leela - weekend eating strategies - that's what I need! It's easier during the week when things are more structured with work and stuff, but when you eat out on a weekend once or twice or visit family I always end up bumping up those…
  • Hi, Wow Leela, I dont know how you do all that activity in one day! Very inspiring, I seriously must try harder! Yesterdays' goals 1. Up the water intake, usually manage 3 glasses so I'll double it today. - FOUR GLASSES, NOT GOOD 2. Do SOME exercise. Busy night after work but whack a dvd on and DO IT! - DIDNT DO DVD, BUT…

  • Thank you backinthenines, that actually makes me feel a lot better about it. I'm glad I'm not the only one though. Nuts! Good idea! I will put them on my shopping list this week. PS - well done training twice a day, thats awesome! xx
  • Yeah, for example my daily calorie goal is 1540 (set by MFP). Yesterday I did a power walk at lunch and then an aerobics dvd sp burned 607 calories which took me up to 2147 calorie goal for that day. I ate 1146 calories - good breakfast of toast, yoghurt and fruit, a sandwich for lunch, and a pie (yes a PIE!) for tea with…
  • Oh I just posted a similar message at the same time! I too am finding it hard to eat the extra calories, it's such a strange thing to do, it feels like I'm going right against the grain if I do that. Do we need to find 'good calories' to fill that void maybe??
  • argh mfp got banned from my workplace pc so i wasn't able to log on, just realised i could use my phone! Anyway, sounds like we are all on a similar path at least. I am quite organised when it comes to meal planning, i do a menu at the beginning of the week and buy the food to make the meals. In fact even better my hubby…
  • Hi Jo, I'd be happy to buddy up with you! We're in similar situations, I'm 26, live in the UK (Greater Manchester) and I've got 12lbs to lose -which doesn't seem much to some people but its enough to tip me out of the ideal BMI and into the 'overweight' section! So it's got to go! I'm 5'7''. How are you hoping to tackle…
