Are they mailing out shirts and medals to those who didn't get them? I know that among other things, it was reported that MCM ran out of medals this year but was working to mail to those who didn't receive one at the race? Honestly, I've had races that were organized poorly with incorrect markings (to the point where…

Me either. Yes it's a logitical mess, but it's hardly the worst. FWIW most of the big races I've done and looked into oftentimes have an in person packet pick up policy so that's something you might need to plan for in the future. It's really not that rare.

Not sure if I read this right, but are you trying to say that Quest bars are not processed?

I don't want or need the bulkier look that most people associate with fit. I'm perfectly content and healthy being scrawny. If that means my dating pool is smaller, so be it.

Just made the cut, I'm 28 ;)

Sodium and fiber. So dium because I have a history of hypertension and high cholesterol in my family and fiber because it helps me stay full and not eat needlessly.

nice work

This. If you're truly serious you need to control yourself and not rely on people creating an ideal environment free of what tempts you.

Given that people seem to all ready be using this as a the general introduction thread, I'll just add my own here. Luckily or not, I didn't develop an ED until about a year ago. I originally wanted to slim down due to the fact that I'm a distance runner and the fact that, in general, the lighter you are the faster you run.…

I would try to approximate the best I could, etiher with an existing entry in the database aas a whole or item by item. Failing that there's also a quick add for the calories.

The way I've come to terms with stuff like this is, there will always be doubters. They'll say whatever for whatever reason. You need to keep it in your head that you're doing this for you and not them.

Even now some people still call me plump, chubby, etc...

Keep in mind that vegetables also have sugars in them.

I love Man vs. Food. That said, I'm sure he knew that what he was consuming during his time on the show was rather unhealthy.

Late 20s here. Add me if you like.

http://iifym.com/tdee-calculator/ is another that I like.

Thanks for the link. It's amazingly informative. FWIW I tend to follow the "drink less, but better" philosophy.

Very awesome study.

Good Job? I think you've been given some good suggestions in this topic, so I suggest you take some of them in the very least. FWIW I know diabetics who do similar things to the things that are suggested and they seemt handle things quite well, even in considering such periods of irrational behavior.
-
While I'm not diabetic, diabetes is in my present (my mother) my past (my grandfather, my mom's father) and possibly in my own. Knowing that, would the OP need to find some ways to deal with it? Of course doesn't that somehow entail possibly keeping certain things handy or learning how to move forward?

I definitely still run. I layer my clothes and use running tights if I need them.

I was just thinking about a Pumpkin Pie Smoothie, so thanks for this!

Depending on what your settings are and what you'rer using to calculate your exercise calories from, I would eat back some. For example if i was using the MFP for my calories burned I'd definitely eat only a partial amount because I find that it overestimates for my activities.
-
I'd log it and not care abou the consumption unless it gets out of hand. That said, I do exercise during the holidays so I do have a bit of a cushion

Quest Bars seem to be the most popular on this forum.

carrot or celery sticks.

C10H15NO might be a nice thing to use too.

I definitely get the shot.

I get up in the early morning and just do it.
