  • Not really a direct answer. But, I'm a dad of two and work full time. I can't always exercise my weight off like I used to BK. I work out when I can but found that focusing on my diet has allowed me to lose even with out a lot of exercise. Not working out but taking in 1200-1500 calories is still a GREAT weight loss day.
  • The worst thing you can do it let one episode sabotage your future. A binge is bad. You know what is worse? A binge which propels you back into an unhealthy lifestyle. Be thankful you recognize that it was wrong and that you want to change. It happened, you admitted it by posting. Time to move on!
  • I am a full time working dad of 2, looking to lose 20 pounds as well. I did it once before (actually 30). However, once the first kid came, forget it!! They are now 8 and 6 and its time for me to get back to where I need to be. Shoot me an invite if you want and good luck.
  • Ya, I think its the weekends, too. However, have you considered that you may have added a pound or two of muscle from your lifting? That's what happens to me all the time.
  • I try and save up through the day and reward myself with one or to light beers (Ultra 95 cal; Coors Light 102) at night. Hey, gotta reach your calorie goal, right? ;)
  • I struggle with this, too. I was up to like 4-5 diet cokes a day. First, I don't have it in the house. That helps (obviously). Second, I switched to seltzer water, in the can. It's carbonation mimics soda and the "ritual" of drinking a canned, carbonated beverage helps fulfill the need (sounds weird, but it works). The…
  • I freaked when I read "500." Ya, 1200 is tough. I am 185 and shooting for 1500 a day. On non-exercise days, I have to be SUPER careful with my food choices (obviously). I hate vegetables, but salad(s) of all kinds are really coming in handy in helping me feel full. On those days, I can't even consider nuts and nut butters.…
