LOL The humor of your post was lost mmuzzatti. I got it tho. If you have a few workout pills to share, I could use some for my lazy days. bwahahaha. ;)

If you have netflix, there's lots of fitness videos you can get on there. Also, exercise TV is nice. http://www.exercisetv.tv/workout-videos/

I've found the pool helps with soreness if you have access to an indoor one. When I was running a lot, I'd squeeze in 30 min a week in the pool swimming (ok, TRYING to swim...I'm NOT a swimmer) and it was soooo soothing! I always hated the mad dash from the locker room to the pool tho...I felt soooo exposed! LOL But it was…

I just ran across an awesome blog for slow cooking! I always struggle to think up stuff to put in mine. This lady has blogged all kinds of ideas! http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/2007/12/alphabetical-listing-of-recipes.html Hopefully MFP won't zap my post since this isn't my blog and I'm not promoting my own stuff or…

I'm almost 5'4. ;) (more like 5'3 and a half but who's counting! haha)

I hate the dentist too. But it gets much easier to go if you establish a relationship with one provider. If the one you go to talks down to you or lectures you about not going for so long, find a new one. There's many out there and it's hard enough to go without being belittled! Once I got to know my dentist a little, I'm…

Do you have padded bike shorts? Obviously I'm not a dude, but I would think they might help some. They sure helped my sore tail. I know they look silly but they do have some that aren't all tight (look up baggy cycling shorts) or you can get a liner that goes inside your normal pants so you have some extra padding.

So awesome! Way to go!! :)

haha! That's how I look when I run too!!! hahaha. Your post reminds me of this... there's often shirts and stuff at distance races that say "In my dreams I'm Kenyan". Those shirts always make me giggle because the Kenyan runners they are referring to are long lean muscular and FAST...and I'm short and stubby and "shuffle"…

here's some ideas: go for walk, call a friend and chat, write a friend you haven't talked to in a little while an email just to say hello, make a fun to-do list...things you wanna do before the end of the year and then things you want to do someday, start a blog, learn something new...

I'm a ~ because I'm squirmy and the ~ looks squirmy too. :)

Mine do this too! I thought it was from danging down but they did it yesterday after a long bike ride too and were still swollen this morning! They've gone down now though and I have no idea when or why. lol

Holy smokes!!! Great work! You look fantastic!

Yeah at least someone noticed "weird" behavior! Too bad walking down the street is weird though! LOL Way to go on going for a walk with your friend. I love quality time like that! :)

Oh and if anyone else uses runkeeper.com, look me up. http://runkeeper.com/user/biddysaurus/profile I just started using runkeeper about a month ago and love that I can track running, biking, walking, skating, etc. on there and it separates it out for me so I know how much of each I did. :)

I'm in!! :)

And you have plenty of time to train for November. I did a 4 month training plan and when I started was only doing 4 miles at a time!

It's one of the most awesome things you'll ever experience! Go for it! I'm not sure where you're from but I highly recommend the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon. It's got a ton of crowd support (yeah, I thought I didn't need it either! ;) But I was sure happy to have that little burst of cheering sometimes!) and the course…

My grandfather ate the skin! He lost his fingers just below the middle joint in a coal mining accident and couldn't cut the skin off...so he just ate it! I never knew why he did until I got older and then I peeled them for him and he liked them much better. ;) But if you like the skin, eat it. I seriously doubt it's bad…
