My wife is experiencing the same thing. For me, it's the significant decrease in alcohol, more time at the gym and no fast food that has really worked. Hasn't been easy. Keep it up - even some small progress is good progress!

Definitely starts with weights and add cardio....my PT is all over weights, building muscle and burning more calories in the long run.
