Work weeks are always a breeze for me too, the weekends are killer. I try to meal prep for weekends too and treat it just like a workday. And I usually treat myself to one thing "bad" every other weekend. Meaning one meal only though. Lol

I weigh in and check my measurements monthly. I use to weigh daily when I first started my journey.

Large duffle: Nike Slip-ons, Gym shoes, basketball shoes, Evolution basketball, pump, heavy bag gloves, jump rope, towels, clothes, toiletry kit, ankle support, blender bottle, water, phone charger, extra set of wireless headphones, and for some reason a can of soup. A lot of crap. Lol

Slim Fast is essentially just a meal replacement shake. Muscle milk was a staple in my weight loss journey. So, it works if your other meals are on point.

Low carb diets can be good if you're just starting to lose weight and want to get a fast 10lbs off, then you can start adding them back into your diet. Regardless of what type of meal plan you're on, I would stay away from carb loading on your last meal of the day. I usually eat most of my carbs in the morning and lunch…

Soooo glad you're here, Mom. You're going to love this year, I promise! :)

Make a batch of home made granola. Super easy to do and tastes great.

Unfortunately, nothing I've tried gets rid of the urge. So, it's just will power and keeping the "crap" out of my pantry. Usually, I will just try to drink a bottle of room temperature water and get my mind on something else. Fight the temptation, you got this!

Definitely take some measurements too! The scale only says so much. I used to judge all my accomplishments by the scale and would get upset sometimes. I'm no expert by any means, but feel free to reach out for any tips. I'm happy to share what I know.

Hey, don't know if you're working out or not, but I'd probably up to 1700/1800 for your weight. That's still low, but it gives you an extra meal. Also, the best thing I ever did was check the scale monthly instead of daily. Just stick to your meal plans and the weight will come off. Good luck on ur journey.

California prison system took out weights sometime ago. Those guys are still coming out jacked. You can still see nice gains with just simple bodyweight training like push-ups, squats, Burpee's. Plus there are variations for all of these movements to increase resistance and make them harder. Good luck man!

I generally have a bad meal once every 2 weeks; I just have the one meal and I do not binge or order something that is like 2000+ calories. I just get myself a cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and a beer, or something along those lines. I would just log the closest thing if you cannot find exactly what you had. Never…

Welcome to MFP! Definitely an awesome app/site; it helped me tremendously a few years ago when I was getting back into the swing of things. The community is a great place for questions and accountability. Good luck on your journey man!! -AB

Hey Sharon, Definitely not rude to BYOC (Bring your own coffee). In these situations I just make sure to have one serving at the meal time with plenty of water and not pick at any tempting finger foods. Then, you can have your coffee at the later time when they're eating again. The biggest thing is to just have a game plan…

Awesome! This app/site is so great and so is the community. Feel free to add. Best, -AB
