  • Yes! Almost any kind of dolls. And masks. It's the eyes.

  • Wow. I've never had anyone give me unsolicited advice, much less in a demeaning way. I would have deleted those friends in a jiffy too. I will admit to having given someone advice once, but it was out of genuine concern that she was not eating enough, and I would not have blamed her for deleting me if I had offended her.…
  • 1 Never exercising 2 Low Self-esteem 3 Late night fast food runs (for the most part)
  • I'm 23 and 5'2.5". SW: 132 lbs GW: 118 lbs CW: ~115 lbs Also, I'm a twin. We go back and forth with our weights. Right now I'm the smaller one and loving it. Hehe. Then again, she is almost an inch taller than me.
  • Hubby and I are already celebrating by playing video games and rereading The Hobbit respectively.
  • I'm rereading The Hobbit to prepare for a fanfiction I will be writing for Camp NaNoWriMo. I'm also working on Yo! by Julia Alverez.
  • Yep, me too. I'd only get 805 calories. I like my 1700 calories.
  • I really like the last one. Those black bottoms looks sexy. ^^ The pink was pretty nice too.
  • I <3 Endomondo! Free version of course, but it can sync to your Facebook.
  • I don't have a problem with someone having a closed diary, but I don't understand why people comment on them as if they could see the diary. "Great job!" when you have no idea how their day actually went is just... idiotic? I'll never do it.
  • If it is seriously just one pound, I'd say cut your losses and reset to maintenance. I hit the same wall around 120-ish. When I started eating my maintenance calories instead of 1200, I actually dropped the last few pounds that had escaped me. Now I'm at 115 and maintaining again, but I had stopped caring about being under…
  • I third that. Except for the boy bands, which I pretend did not exist. The rock AND pop was pretty great.
  • WOW. This thread... :noway: SO glad I have a cat...
  • There are various ways you can shrink the fat cells, but I have yet to find anything effective and have given up. How much you have is due to genetics, so good luck in your endeavor!
  • I'm 5'2.5" and 115 lbs. I eat around 1700 every day to maintain, but may up it if I continue to lose weight. I'm beginning to suspect that my TDEE is higher than that.
  • I vote dress TWO because I don't suggest wearing black to a wedding unless you're a guy and it's a tux. Just kind of sends a negative message, even if black is a go-to for formal wear. Dress 4 is nice but looks bridesmaid-sy, and dress 3 is cute but the print may be too much. So anyway. I would wear dress…
  • Yes. This. My uncle had two aneurysms and had no clue. Feeling his heartbeat in his midsection was his only symptom. He really got lucky that mentioned it to his doctor, even though it seemed minor and silly. He almost didn't bring it up, but it saved his life! Please get checked, just to be safe.
  • It's pretty easy if you don't have a desk job. I wore my pedometer to my restaurant job and hit 10k steps easily. My pedometer stopped working so I can't validate this, but I know I walk even more at my new retail job. I'm sure I'd gain weight if I had a job that reset my TDEE to sedentary.
  • This. Instead of berating people for starving themselves, I just delete them from my friends. I will gladly find more friends who eat well and are healthy. I have never had anyone tell me that I am doing this "wrong" and should try "their way". If people are too judgmental for you to keep your diary open, find new (nicer)…
  • I have mine open to the public bc I have nothing to hide. I'm just as human as anyone else. When I ate out more I kept it closed because I was embarrassed by my lack of self-control (not the quantity I ate but the lack of quality). The accountability of an open diary helps me make better choices.
  • I'm going to take a gander and say you should up your calories. If you have your calories set to "sedentary" but are exercising six days a week, then you probably need more fuel than what you've been eating.
  • You're already at a healthy weight for your height, so focusing on other aspects of your health is a good call. Upping your protein intake and starting strength training is a great idea too. I use an online body fat calculator, and while it may be far from accurate, when used consistently, it can measure relative progress.…
  • At your size, losing 2 lbs/wk (for 9 wks) is unrealistic, and eating <1000 calories/day is unhealthy. Why don't you try eating better, eating more than 1000 calories/day, and exercising more? Your body will start getting into better shape. You may not weigh what you think you should weigh by August, but you will look and…
  • If you don't like breakfast or can't eat when you first get up, then don't! There's nothing wrong (imho) with eating your calories later in the day. That being said, you can eat whatever you want. My go-to meal is quick oats with milk and fresh fruit, but you could also try having a protein shake to hold you over til…
  • You could find a cheaper protein powder and buy your stevia in large bags instead of portioned packets. I agree that brown rice is very cheap and goes a long way while being filling. As for produce, except for bananas and strawberries, I get whatever is on sale when I go. Homemade soups are usually cheap to make in large…
  • I don't know how much my bones weigh. But seriously, if you mean having a relatively smaller lean body mass, then that's me. Only 89 lbs of non-fat.
  • It depends on the person. I walk at 4mph, while some people would have to jog. On the other hand, I run at 5mph, while some people would call that jogging. We're all in different states of fitness, so how we run is just as different. What is slow to some is fast to others and vice versa.
  • I can't believe that you are sleeping on a single mattress on the floor when your boyfriend has a nice, new double bed. Something about this whole situation screams of power and control issues. It is one thing to be lazy, but he seems worse than that. I hate to say it, but get you a job, and get out of there. :frown:
  • I moved in with my boyfriend after dating for only two months, and now we're married. I'm glad I moved in first because otherwise this first year of marriage would be soooo difficult. My husband is a great man but hard to live with (at first). What I learned is you have to talk to him about this. Moving in with anyone can…
