I've lost 7 pounds in 54 days, and the estimate was .8 pounds per week, so pretty much spot on.
-
I only ever lose weight on my rest days. ;^) Gives me a reason to rest so I can step back on the scale!
-
Something's gotta kill ya. I'll take it over diabetes and heart disease, thanks.
-
That's how mine works. Just step on the scale one day and I'm suddenly a pound lighter.

You used to also be able to use them at drugstore.com, and that made it worth it to me at the time. Not sure if that is still available, though.

I just avoid the wheat and nothing else seems to bother me.

On their web site it says 424 for females. Full report: http://www.lesmills.com/files/Email/BODYPUMP%20Research%20Report_final.pdf

Try the vanilla -- it has a better taste. I don't like plain greek yogurt or even plain regular yogurt. Better mixed with fruit or something.

Workout, take a walk or eat less the next day. Or do what my hubby does and go by your weekly totals and not daily.

Will be 55 in November. Wasn't losing anything til I got on here and started logging, in spite of a LOT of exercise and strength training. Ya gotta eat less than you burn, that's all.

Most people would say do your cardio after so you don't tire yourself out before lifting. My trainer believes in combination moves that are a cardio workout in themselves. 30 minutes of it is plenty!

Well if you're eating vegetables it's harder to get as many calories as if you're eating high carb junk food. That's the basic difference. It's not so much that clean eating is better, it's that it fills you up on lower calorie foods. If you ate the same amount of calories and met the same macros, though, you have the same…

Eat ALL the salmons! Nature's perfect food! I wanna spend my next life as a BEAR!!!
-
Track ALL the things!
-
I do strength training and Bar Method. Never seen better looking women than I do in my Bar classes! When I started it my trainer at the gym asked me, "Why does your waist look smaller?"
-
I track for awareness. Try to get close to the right calorie count, but more to log what and when I'm eating, and to figure out why. As long as I'm close to goal, it's good.

Write down what you eat. I complained too til I came here and started doing that. It's just an excuse. That 6 pounds there? That's you, 50 days from now. That's when I started.

I wish Dannon was as good here in the U.S. as it is in Europe. In Paris they had it in glass bottles and it was SO good.

Used to LOVE Chobani before it got so popular. Now it doesn't seem to be as fresk. Oikos is pretty good. Although since Oikos is Stonyfield now, they'll probably start adding tons of sugar. I've mostly switched back over to cottage cheese, though. I may try the Noosa or Liberte based on recs here.

You can look fantastic and healthy at any size! When I go to my Bar Method workouts, we are all different shapes and sizes, but we all look wonderful! I'll never have thin hips, but the curves shape up nicely.

Get Dr. Perricone's books (don't buy the products, too expensive) and correct any nutritional deficiencies from there. Get some Derma E DMAE Alpha Lipoic C-Ester Serum. Use it. Eat salmon. Lots of salmon. That should do it. http://www.amazon.com/Perricone-Prescription-Physicians-Program-Rejuvenation/dp/0060934352

That's what I do, too. Getting there! Pushups were my goal last year and I can do a lot of those now! I don't know if I'll get beyond modified pullups, but we'll see! I have the shoulder strength but not the arm strength yet.

Somethings gotta kill ya. I'm entitled to one vice.

I set my percentage up and can never get enough... working on it.

Hate to say it, but I finally saw a naturopath for my thyroid issues since my doctor wouldn't up the thyroid. Tripled the dose and went on Armour thyroid and can finally lose weight and feel SO much better.

It is good fat. High Omega 3. Just not too much.
-
Usually post workout to rebuild and rehydrate.

The Asics Gel sneakers are nice too! And tighter jeans so I keep going.
-
Tiny ramikins for snacks and salad plates to use as dinner plates.

My trainer doesn't have us bench press at all anymore. Says it causes injuries and full body motions are better anyway.
