I can't get by on 1200 - so I have to exercise!! And there is no waaay I could skip a meal - that just leads to binging! on days when I know i won't get a work out in I stick to frozen meals for lunch and dinner - I find it helps me with portion control.

I find a lot of these posts about "unsupportive" spouses are silly...it comes down to you wanting it or not and using that as an excuse. [/quote] ^^this!^^

I think your diary looks great! the carbs that you are getting are healthy. MFP tend to be too high in the carb requirements. I think it's based on the old version of the food pyramid that was bread/grains/carb heavy

I find that eating a meal that is protein dense is far more filling that a carb dense meal for the same amount of calories. ex: my breakfast today was 305 calories (coffee, 18% cream, 2 slices of ham, an egg and a slice of cheese with ketchup and an orange) compare that to a bowl of honey nut cheerios with milk and 1/2…

My garmin always seem really low. If I wear it for a 5k run it says I only burn around 300 cal's, but if I wear my timex for the same run it says I burn 500+ cal's.

I have a timex hrm and I wear it EVERY TIME I swim! I swim once a week for an hour, and I've been doing that since september with no issues. the more you exercise the more you can eat!!!! It's the only way to make it on 1200 calories :) Edit: get yourself a heart rate monitor to get an accurate calories burned count - MFP is usually fairly conservative in the calories they give you for your exercise Add me if you like!

I wash all of my work out stuff in LOTS of vinegar and detergent. I add vinegar to the pre wash dispenser, to the bleach dispenser and to the softener dispenser. Seems to work good for me. Even ones that used to be really rank are like new again!
