  • WOW! That's great.
  • To tell you the truth, I do that with my Polar and FitBit. Even though it says its synced it doesn't really show the calories I burn. So I depend on my Polar more than my FitBit when logging workout calories on MFP
  • I have been on this journey almost 2 years. It takes time and patience. I am down 40lbs and have 60 left to go. I workout at home with BeachBody products during the week and go to my subdivision gym on the weekends when its crappy out or I walk around my neighborhood, all by myself, to get my steps in. You can add me as…
  • Switching up your workouts is a plus. Most times running alone will not do what you want your body to do. On average, what percent are your running and what percent are you strength training? You want to sometimes even it out or not so much. Example: I strength train 6 days a week. But out of those 6 days I include cardio…
  • I spend $100 a month on groceries and $115 for my protein powder a month. I am single and very creative when it comes to food. If I do eat out, its only once a month. I prefer making my own food and pinterest is very helpful in that field. Aldi is the best store out there. But I do compare prices in other places in the…
  • Go into your settings. You should be able to adjust the viewing there. Everyone on here is correct on what they stated. Plus don't be so hard on yourself. It takes time for your body to adjust. Your body is in shock when you start to reduce your regular food intake. Its being cautious and may store fat that makes you think…
  • I once was an active WW user once. But feel this way is more simple. I have been using this app for almost 2 years. I have not reached my goal yet, but determined to get reach it still. Down 40lbs. I am shooting for a 100lb weightloss. Add me as a friend and we can support each other.
  • You should be in the right slot. I'm 5'11" and trying to lose more. But my calorie intake is 2100 and I workout 5 days a week. 3 strength training and 2 cardio
  • Welcome to the MFP community. The more friends the more accountability for each of us to have. I also have a Group Challenge starting in February. If you are interested, let me know.

  • Welcome to the MFP family. It will happen. You stay committed and focused. Remind yourself everyday the WHY you are doing this. Anything is possible if you believe.

  • yes log everyday. You will notice a big difference in what you ate in the past and what now and your body will thank you for it.
  • Welcome to the MFP community. There are some amazing people on here.
  • Do you pre-pack your meals? It does help when you know you will be at work for long shifts. As Kaylanabaker stated, make sure you have healthy snacks on hand.
  • It works as long as you have positive people surrounding you. Add me if you like. Some negative people may break you down. But don't let them. And don't let your bad conscience get the best of you. :)
  • Welcome to the community. It's a great place to make friends and support each other for the same goals.
  • Congrats! Great to hear that you are doing a great program.
  • Hello
  • WE sure can do this. Add me as a friend. You already made that first step. Staying committed and determined is the next. Need an accountability friend. I am here.
  • Add me as a friend if you need motivation and accountability. I post and reply to all my friends on there. And if I haven't seen you active for two days, I will PM you to see how you are doing. It's the least I can do.
  • I had the same issue. So I actually bought myself a Polar watch with a HR band cause I wanted to know how much I was burning. Going to different sites and figuring out my weight x length of video x ... was so frustrating. So once I got the Polar watch I would add the exercises into the app/site and once it knew it, I just…

  • I am a neighbor here in IL
  • That is amazing news. I have been on a journey to lose 100lbs as well. I am down 35lbs. But reality tends to get in the way. MFP has taught me that the foods I love really aren't worth the calories. I use Pinterest for most of my recipes on foods I love but a healthier version. I am also starting a new program in February:…
  • Have you ever heard of 21 Day Fix? It's an awesome program that helps you with your eating as well as the calorie count. I'm planning on doing it in February.
  • That's awesome news. Beachbody definitely has some awesome products. If you never tried TurboFire, that one will get you there in no time. I love that program and shed almost 40 pounds from it. I am currently doing CLX cause I have a LOVE for weights. I am loving it even if I am only a week in.
  • Welcome to MFP. WE are all here to reach our dreams. You can do that too! You already made that step.. Congrats
