Personally my breakfast tends to consist of egg & avocado in omlette form or scrambled, probably with some cheese - definitely tabasco and maybe spinach. - Lunch can be a massive bowl of salad leaves, with again maybe avocado, smoked salmon or pre-cooked chicken - tons of seeds of all kinds, mayonnaise - perhaps mixed with…

Love me some bulletproof coffee - I actually made a video on tumblr about how to make iced BPC - that is fkin amazing in the summer, so good.

In the way it's used, no. Celery however is very low in calories, you burn a base amount of calories everyday by existing let's say for example you burn 2000kcal a day that's 83.3r kcal per hour, if you take an hour out of your day to eat 80kcal worth of celery ~(that's rather a lot of celery tbh) then that would see you…

Every fkin time with this term, what do you think the quote marks are for, like I say every single time I use this term which I hate so fkin much - cooking is a process, cutting is a process, even picking the plant or killing the animal is a process, im not the one who coined it - which is why I use the quote marks. I…

If you're not going to eat it, then as stated previously you have no extra calories to be worrying about. Do try some edibles though if you're going to be sampling then why not - if you get the chance to try vaping even better.

Yeah no-one did from what I can see... what are you at like an [8]?

If you are going to smoke the cannabis you will not be ingesting it and therefore consuming nothing - no calories. If you are going to be eating it then it will most likely be similar to other sorts of leaf like spinach or rocket - but it's going to be such a small amount that the most you will be like to eat is 10-30kcal…

150g cheese. I just had an IMMENSELY CHEESE egg scrable with two avocados in it and only 30g cheddar... wot... 150g...

I've lost over 100lbs now, and have lost very little volume in my breasts; my mom however has lost about 30lbs, and has lost volume in her breasts. No-one can tell you what's going to happen. You have to think about both things, what will be better for you, and what is more important to you. I would tell you that it is…

If you're struggling with getting below a certain level of net carbs it looks like you might just need to invest in more keto friendly foods. I'm sitting pretty at 5g net carbs today, and I'm not trying to be in ketosis atm. I'll probably max out at 8-10g net carbs, and I might have some berries later. Tons of avocado…

The estimate calorie burn on MFP is notoriously inaccurate and almost always overestimated. The best thing you can do without the assistance of a HRM or similar is to get to know your own body in the way or similar way to what @StaciMarie1974 suggested above. Loads of people on MFP log their exercise, and set it so that…

Because you're diabetic (i'm assuming with the metformin) you need to be working with your doctor on this. Note that ketosis is possible under 50g carbs for most and up to 100g carbs for some, as you will be more sensitive to carbs I would guess you'd be around the 40-50g mark anyway. Keto may not be suitable for you at…

I ate mcdonalds once a week at least, sometimes more for 7 months & lost 75lbs because I was at a calorie deficit - I was certainly healthier overall after that than I was 75lbs heavier. Also have a watch of "fat head" documentary - it features a man who ate fast food everyday and was able to improve his over all health…

Fantastic commitment & the best kind of support your husband could get! Well done, you're both going to do awesome by the sounds of it.

and I'm back in.

I think that Paleo dieting is a good thing to look into & to pull ideas from to tailor to your own needs. Cravings tend to just be a matter of willpower over want - then after a while turning that into habit; I most definitely can not disagree with the idea of incorporating more whole & natural foods over refined…

3 different kind of meats, 5 different kinds of cheese, some jalapenos... Right I think my night's sorted.
-
Don't get me wrong I'm down with your olives & even lemons; where is the meat though?
-
You might want to get that checked over by a doctor :3 something wrong with ya!!!

sweet potatoes are allowed in "traditional" paleo, but are iffy in terms of carb counts. -this list advises you to think "grains are the devil" *sigh- Food List

14min into this, and it's quite interesting. Great link ty.

Paleo is low carb & around 100g or less per day if I recall (it's been over two years since I looked into it) It's VERY easy to eat that low carb when eating (only) whole fresh foods. That's why people on paleo so often end up slipping into ketosis.

^^^^ !! 'plans' like Paleo also give people motivation to start cooking their own food & come away from convenience foods, they also help people to learn about nutrition, and the importance of dietary fat, which I can't insult it for.

I love me a good lecture, pls let it contain peer based studies.

Agreed, I don't like the idea of completely removing certain foods. Processing and agriculture has been wonderful for us & I don't think I could go without a baked potato with cheese. (Yeah, removal of entire foods is quite fad-y | glad it's not something like that cabbage diet though, that whole fad can stay in hell)

What to eat on Paleo (taken from ultimate Paleo Guide) * Grass-fed meats * Fish/seafood * Fresh fruits * Fresh vegetables * Eggs * Nuts * Seeds * Healthy oils (olive, walnut, flaxseed, macadamia, avocado, coconut) See that all sounds wonderful, but no dairy, no potatoes, no grains or refined sugars of any sort. :(

Yeah that's why I threw those quotes in, whenever someone points that out I'm like "cooking" "cutting" "washing" I hate that term. Give up cheese? you're having a giggle mate. I'm lactoseintolerant & that still is not happening. Gimmie dat sweet brie.

Fruit is totally paleo, but potatoes aren't nor peanuts. :(
