Back on low carbing! Did it for 6 months last year and lost 60lbs but went to low cal low fat for a change. Now I'm back to low carbs. It just works out better for me.

Love the idea of using applesauce instead of oil. I couldn't tell any difference at all. It really is very good and you can enjoy a large piece for under 200 cals. Not to bad for a treat!

10th day for me today. Lost 3 lbs and 2" from bust, 3" from waist, 1/2" from hips, 1/4" from thighs, 1/4" from arms. Start level 2 tomorrow!!

Just finished day 2 and I my abs and legs are soooo sore! I'm not a big fan of her either (that's putting it mildly) so I turn up the radio and mute the sound on the tv so I don't have to hear her annoying voice. :laugh: I did take pics before i started and took measurements. Excited to see the results in 28 days!!!

Thanks to those who shared their stories of the same frustrations and to those who gave advice. For the most part everyone was on the same page. I updated my goals after reading some of the links provided. Trial and error it is!!! I guess I'll know if it's right in a few weeks!

Thanks for the information prokomds. I'll check it out. I'm just trying to cut the bad fats. Honestly all I want to do is make smarter choices and eat healthier. I agree eating too much of anything (carb/fat/protein) is unhealthy. Just trying to find a healthy balance and lose some weight doing it. If it were easy everyone…

It is certainly a big change eating carbs again. I'm trying to add good carbs but at the end of the day when I see my carb intake over 100 I get a bit freaked out. Only been a week for me and so far so good. It's a learning process getting the right balance. Hope I get it soon!! LOL

Well I can say that following these two types of diets has taught me a lot about the effect some foods have on more than just my waist line.
