  • A couple of apples, oranges, a bunch of grapes, two eggs. The choices are endless.
  • Yes I have been getting this too. I have ended up deleting said food or drink and re-entering it.
  • I noticed this too a few days back (I am on PC). I check-in, input my new weight and new measurements and then when I go back to my newsfeed, it used to say "*** has lost ***lbs, has lost *** in total!" - now it doesn't do that at all, I check in and that's it, nothing on my newsfeed or anything. I have terrific lag when I…
  • This has been happening to me on and off for months and months now. I now just type in my newsfeed "burned [type in number of calories here] calories doing [type in number of minutes here] minutes of [type in activity here].
  • Yay! working properly, at last!!! :D
  • Come on MFP, what is this. Multiple people complaining for a while now and nothing resolved. Having to log in each day, newsfeed doesn't load and then it does. Why, when I am logged in, does the site ask for a further log in to access the forums?
  • I came onto the forums to ask exactly this question. I too, am having to log in everytime I want to go onto MFP. I am also getting the message on my newsfeed "add friends" - however, if I wait a few seconds, all my newsfeed reappears and I do still have all friends.
  • I started off at just under 176lbs (5ft 8" tall), lost some and got down to 161lbs, then hovered around that weight for just under one year, then I decided "no, my original aim was to get down to 130 lbs". So with the help of my husband (who also wanted to lose a few pounds and joined MFP to log food and exercise) I set to…
  • Dang!!!! Did you weigh yourself another day or two later? If so, did your weight come right back down again once you went back to your normal eating ? Edited to add: Whoops ignore my question, I have just seen that the day after that you were down to 191.
  • 47 years sporting here, take off about two years in the middle where I was just being lazy. Track and Field athletics is the greatest thing since sliced bread for me, I did that from 13 years old, on and off until nearly 40. During that time I also trained in martial arts and some weight training. I purchased a good…
  • Dang!!! I was like "ewwwwww" when I got to the "I found the remains of a leech...." bit lol
  • 1200 calories per day here. Power Walking is working a treat for me whilst my running is in a break. Usually every other day, around the 2 hour mark. Down 40 lbs now, almost at my goal; I lose between 1 to 2 lbs per week.
  • STRAVA and MapmyRun are good.
  • Speed on the treadmill.....I used to have a treadmill that went up to 20 kph (12.5 miles per hour). Of course, I never ran at it at that speed (I would most likely have flown off the back if I had haha), however, it did mean it was never working continually at 100%. Before that, I had had a treadmill that only went up to…
  • Yes, I did consider heat being a major factor. I live in the Canary Islands, it will be unusual to have the temperature below 22/23 degrees Celsius in the summer, sometimes it is in the late 20s, I sweat buckets too. Low blood pressure was another thing I considered.
  • [/quote] I’m still out here. I do a mix of regular walking and power walking/slow running. I don’t know what you’d call it. Interesting to reread this. The “rusty” feeling in my hips went away. No treacherous scary falls since slowing down. I’m in a wierd grey zone right now, though. I just got a dog who loves to walk and…
  • If it isn't already in teh MFP list, you will have to add in your own calories, the link below will take you to a kettlebell workout calculator, then you can enter it into your log manually. Once you have logged it, it will be there for the next time you do it and you just adjust the amount of time you exercised for.…
  • You know, I read your post and was quite amazed at just how like my own experience of power walking has been! I have been running - track when younger and on the road since 2011. I too, have taken several tumbles as I (too) do not lift my feet up enough. In fact, my times, were IN SPITE of my running style and not BECAUSE…
  • I love going to the gym, but until our gym quits with the mask wearing whilst on the machines (including the cardio stuff), I'll be staying away. I cannot work out whilst wearing a mask.
  • I go by my Garmin and I have switched off my Garmin syncing to MFP for this reason. What I do do though, is enter the details manually to my "add exercise" and then on my wall status I type "burned (insert calories here) doing (insert minutes here) of running @ (insert mph and mins per mile here)". On all other running…
  • I go running three times per week, followed by weights. Two further days I do weights. I always have one day off per week, sometimes two.
  • Corned Beef Hash. No photos as I ate it lol
