I burn 300 calories during 30 minutes of solid running at 7mph, do you think that could be matched by somebody just sitting on their *kitten* in the sauna, doing sod-all? No it couldn't. You burn a negligible amount, I do not care what anybody says.

That is because the body will adapt to the conditions and activities it partakes in. A marathon runner does not need bulky muscles, in fact it would not be conducive to efficient long distance running, therefore the body eventually adapts and you end up with slow twitch fibres in the muscles. A sprinter on the other hand…

Just say something like "yep, no probs all in hand" and thumbs up. At least they aren't being spiteful or malicious, they mean well, just be gracious and continue what you are doing.

Finding out your TDEE is one thing, accepting that it changes day to day is another. People forget this as not everybody does the same thing day after day, week after week.

The fact of the matter is that spoons and cups are not accurate as shown in the video. and no, most people do not know, the UK for instance does not even use cups and spoons for weights in foods used in calories controlled diets, it is too inaccurate.
-
oh well that's okay then, no need for you to worry really is there. However, for most other people trying to lose weight, "eyeballing" food is a waste of space.

It is an incredible video with excellent information in it, it should have gone viral in my opinion.

Does he study properly in his other subject and how does he do in those? Look, perhaps his brain is not algebra-friendly, we can't be good at all subject for crying out loud, if we were, the world would be full of geniuses! WHY is it imperative he does well at algebra? If he is doing well at all other subject and is…

Are you being serious LOL! How the hell can you count calories (as you say you understand about that bit) if you do not know how many calories in the food? If you do not know the weight of the food in question how the hell can you know the amount of calories in it to count them?? Me thinks you are actually on a wind-up.

Beginner runners are not 7-10 mins, just to let you know lol.

No I think people say that because they genuinely would like a message to accompany friend's requests. Just accepting friend's willy-nilly so that hundreds upon hundreds are on one's profile is ridiculous - and believe me, there are nutters out there that collect profiles like somebody would collect stamps. Besides which,…

I couldn't watch the whole video, I felt sick watching her. Seriously, it's disgusting.

The gain is fluid, it is not fat. For it to be fat, 7000 extra calories would have to have been consumed, as you did not have that, it is not fat gain. Oh that is 7000 calories more than you used by the way, 7000 calories in excess. and no, the body does not store for a later period when you may be in famine…

I have ordered a soft strap off the internet for my Polar FT4, it was dispatched today so hopefully, I will get that within the next couple of days.

I do not do IF, but it is not a "fad diet". The cabbage soup diet - now THAT was a fad diet. You need to try it for yourself and decide whether it is for you or not, rather than just take one person's word for it and dismiss it so quickly.

Lee Evans Harry Hill - cannot stand watching this bloke at all

Yes, I know what you mean, I have my local one which is two miles away, but my favourite is about 20 miles away, luckily it is on my local train line. Parkruns are the best

All I know is that watching world-class runners. I notice they breathe with an open mouth. Probably to ensure they get their oxygen. Breathing through the nose is fine if you are not out of breathe, but personally, when running it is not even an option for me.

I just signed up for a HM in February 2014, it will be abroad, should be interesting lol

You know OP, I used to detest cold weather (still do actually), hated the wind, didn't like it if it rained when running etc etc etc. However, something happened the other week and made me realize something. I was walking home from work, the weather was windy, damp and it was cold. I knew I was going to train but I was…

It's okay for a bloke to sleep around though eh.

Seriously, why the hell would anybody want to wear pyjamas out in public. The end.

Personally, I would never leave my phone anywhere. Therefore, either, do not take it to the race in the first place, or, wear it in an armband. Just not worth the risk.

I took mine into a jewellers and they replaced the battery in the watch and receiver. I detest sending stuff off.
-
Was your HRM Polar FT4? If so, I might try the same then, I luffs my HRM
-
In lower temperatures, I just wear thermal running leggings and tops, with gloves.
-
Weirdly, mine too has been playing up a little lately. Batteries in both the watch and receiver were changed, the strap washed every few uses, but rinsed out everytime after use. I first noticed it when sitting down putting my trainers on, my heartrate was showing as 207bpm!!! On the whole it seems to work just fine, but…

Saucony Progrid CS2 - unfortunately, they have now discontinued that line and upgraded to CS3, hopefully when it comes to renewing, I hope they will be okay.
