As others have said it depends on the store and the product. I buy store brand frozen vegetables (Tops or Wegmans) almost exclusively. They're cheaper, and I don't want the "fancy blends" or "light sauces" (though Wegmans has those options, too). Target has amazing store brand cereals, especially for you granola fans. They…

This is a bit (ok, very) off topic but I'm curious. Has Greek yogurt always been around and it's just getting popular, or is it a new thing? I've been eating regular yogurt forever, and it's ok, but I love the Greek yogurt and it's a great substitute for so many things. Where has it been all my life?

This isn't my idea (I got it from another forum thread) but I'm a huge fan. Add a box of Jell-O fat free sugar free cheesecake pudding mix to Chobani vanilla greek yogurt, It tastes amazing, and just as importantly, it changes the texture and consistency of the yogurt. It's just like eating cheesecake. Other pudding…

I agree with the roasters - roasted veggies are delicious! However, I'm not much of a cook so I depend on steamed veggies (the ones you microwave in the bag). When I'm pressed for time I sprinkle some popcorn seasoning on them - it comes in butter, white cheddar, parmesan and nacho cheese flavors. The white cheddar is my…

Whoever posted the Jell-O fat free sugar free cheesecake pudding idea, God bless you! It was amazing. I tried lemon pudding too, and it was good, but the cheesecake was out of this world.

The math isn't adding up here. There are 2000+ calories in a box of cake mix, so for these to be 19 calories you'd have to get well over 100 cupcakes from one batch of cake mix.

I was a hard-core soda drinker... I'm embarrassed to actually type out how much I drank on a daily basis. After reading about the effect of diet sodas on weight loss efforts I decided to cut down or even eliminate soda entirely. So far, I've cut my soda consumption to about 20% of what it was before, on average. For me the…

This isn't so great for a meal but this is my crock-pot invention: Fill crock pot about 3/4 way with a mixture of apples and pears cut into bite sized chunks. Stir in a mixture of dark brown sugar and cinnamon until pieces are evenly coated (more on this later) Add half a bag of cranberries Cook until pieces are soft but…
