I started using MFP last Spring and started losing but also quit in the Fall and gained back all I lost plus another 10#. You have to log daily and stay connected. I thought "I'm really not eating that much so I won't take time to log" but when I log, I realize just how unhealthy I was eating and how MUCH I was actually…

Encouraging to read all your posts. I was using MFP this summer and as soon as I started losing, I quit. This is day 2 and I REALLY want to stick to it this time. Thanks for the support. Have a great day! :)

I need to lose 40#. I was doing good with the MFP this summer then this fall I stopped and I've gained back all that I lost PLUS another 10#. I don't eat right, never eat breakfast, never find time to exercise and it's REALLY starting to show. At 55, I'm at 194 and the heaviest I've ever been in my life! Feeling miserable…

I know it gets discouraging but hang in there and it will happen! I started faithfully logging and exercising on May 6th and was at 193. I lost and gained back the same 2-3 pounds for the past 60 days and on June 6th (after what I felt was a lot of hard work & yo yo-ing back and forth) I was at 193.4! Talk about…

^^^^^^^ This.....tastes really good, low in calories and high in protein. I mix with water or skim milk and sometimes add a banana.

I take Green Tea capsules but it doesn't do anything for weight loss but it is supposed to lower your cholesterol. My husband has had good results with it. I am on cholesterol meds so I'm not sure if it's helping or not but I still take.

Thank you for the info! I definitely feel the workouts but it sure doesn't register and then I'm not sure how to put it down when I log. I'm frustrated with not losing when I feel I'm doing everything right. Can I ask you one more question. I was taking my calorie burn that my Fitbit showed and eating 500 under that and…

I'm definitely not losing FAST.......hardly at all which is frustrating. I started logging March 6 and was doing 500 calories under what my Fitbit says I burned for the day which was about 20% under but I'm not losing at all. I've played around losing and gaining the same 4 pounds. This week I started trying to burn at…

May have just realized what my answer is..........I'm on blood pressure meds and that can affect heart rate. How does anyone else find this affects their target heart rate? http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/beta-blockers/AN01224

I've only had it for a month and it reads my heart rate but it just doesn't seem accurate. I guess I need to put my Blood Pressure Monitor wrist cuff at the same time that reads heart rate and compare the two. It just seems like I'm really working hard but can never get my heart rate up where it needs to be. Thanks for…

Just curious, did you let the MFP site set your eating goal or did you input your own numbers. When I started, I was following the MFP and lost some then after reading all the calculations and spreadsheets and technical stuff on how to set your own numbers, I did it and have gained back what I loss. I took a week off of…

I had PF but when I started riding a bike, it went away! I think it had something do to with stretching of the leg/foot muscle but it's gone and I haven't had it back now for over a year. That's the only thing different I did so I'm confident it helped.

I set mine on Personalized. I tried the sedentary but I work a lot of night shifts at my restaurant and we would have a really busy night and at 11:00, it would show I was WAY behind on eating calories. By setting on personalized, it takes an average of what my past history was and somewhat guesses what I need to eat for…

I love my Fitbit One and LIKE that I can look at the display throughout the day to check my progress instead of always logging to the site! If anyone is interested in purchasing any of the Fitbit products, go to this Groupon link http://www.groupon.com/deals/brookstone-2-atlanta and buy the Brookstone Coupon "$25 for $50…

Love mine! My husband bought it for me for Christmas but paid $99. It's great for seeing your calorie burn and I think it's pretty accurate. There's several on here that use one. I recommend the Fitbit One because it has a display that you can watch throughout the day and see where you're at as far as steps, calories…
