Had a nasty one last night. Mikkeler Monk's Brew which was described as a belgian ale brewed with raspberries in wine casks I believe. It looked like some of the fluids I have seen on the job (I'm a nurse) and was just sour and highly unpleasant. And the bottle cost me $15!

 OMG too many funny posts to quote! Good read ladies. I surprised myself with how calm I was for my son's labor and delivery. Epidurals rock.

I've heard a bit about neo paganism that intrigued me. I'd love to hear more about that if you can summarize. ETA assuming that was an accurate assessment of your beliefs! Or someone else could chime in on that.

Interesting! My top 4: 1. Unitarian Universalism (100%) 2. Secular Humanism (94%) 3. Non-theist (91%) 4. Theravada Buddhism (80%)

There are no parameters. It is highly personal and individualized just like the beliefs we are discussing. It is what our parents taught us, what our experiences have taught us, how we interact with our world. I think most of us try to do the best we know how to do and hopefully we will feel good about the lives we have…
-
Sure, you could definitely use that term. But based not on what our belief system tells us is right, but by an innate sense of morality.
-
Really? But we were having such a nice chat with 7 butthurt-free pages.

I had the same thought. Many of these "alternatives" share the concept of doing good for good's sake. Our inner compass points the way.
-
Agreed. What a civil discussion thus far! I consider myself a non-hipster agnostic atheist with buddhist tendencies. It is always evolving.
-
Wow, I actually read all of that. Can't believe it's still going. No matter what you find attractive, it wouldn't be as distinguishable without contrast. We all make each other look good. Ladies, be who you are, don't be so defensive!

Jameson has altered our DNA over the centuries? Bleached us? Interesting.
-
OMG, we have this and the love of Jameson in common! Lol.

My pale Irish *kitten* knows two colors, white as snow or beet red. I used to hate being so light but now I fully embrace it. Pass the SPF 100 please!

Perfection!

Jameson on the rocks is a fine, smooth delight :drinker:

No doubt

Why not talk to him or her about your concerns then? I don't believe most of what you see here constitutes infidelity. Harmless and none of my business.

Holy crap that's tough! The first ones that come to mind are: Bell's Hopslam Bell's Expedition Stout Guinness Tripel Karmeliet Sam Adams Cherry Wheat Wells and Young Banana Bread Ale Dogfish Head 90 minute Green Flash Rayon Vert Hoegaarden Ballast Point Sculpin Yeah. That oughta keep me busy for awhile

Is that what the kids are doing these days?? Well, whatever youre into man. But seriously, that can't be real. And why would one want to bypass the taste buds? What a waste!

I'm always happy to see more ladies enjoying fine beer, but I do have a special place in my palate for red wines and I always will!

I went to my first one back in February, the Arizona Strong Beer Festival. It was freaking amazing. Just wish I had the fortitude to taste all of the options available!
