Forecast Looking good for Sunday (Since when was 6°C considered Good for Easter Sunday?!)

Yay, finally made it onto the podium! Although I feel a bit of a cheat seeing as most of the UK is under several feet of snow yet on this tiny corner there's not so much as a snow flake! Well done to everyone who managed to get out and hard lines to those whose efforts were hampered by the white stuff

http://connect.garmin.com/activity/288228373 114.50km - dry, snow-free but cold & a bit windy, which slowed me down a bit! Cobbled "Steep" Road; Constitution hill, Swansea. Mid-ride snack - Waffle; (Got to say i will definitely stick to this for my rides, felt like premium in the tank!) and finally the post-ride…

Here's were I'm hoping to go tomorrow, just realised it is one way so let's hope there's no traffic in the morning! no gradient signs though, but you can tell its >10%
-
Here's the nearest steepest cobbled street to me, a 20% grade but it leads to a rough area of Swansea; http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=BswlXBX6SRA Otherwise I'm planning on a longer ride up to 'devils staircase', a 25% gradient in more pleasant surroundings; http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=y-qCNTlFTGM

Thanks to the 'spring' weather I didn't get the ride I'd planned on, but at least I got a ride in! A measly 75.65km :-( http://connect.garmin.com/activity/285528231 Here's a pic from halfway around, the only thing I could take a pic of at the time that was remotely spring like was a flooded pot-hole... And something more…

Late last year I changed my complete chainset from a compact 34/50 to a double 39/53, whereas i could easily climb most of the local mountains on the 50 chain-ring, i struggled to keep up with other riders when descending, the 53 has changed this although it does take some getting used to. i guess the only issues with a…

I would find an exercise i enjoy doing, then prohibit my wine intake unless i burned sufficient calories prior to consumption. No need to cut it out if that's what you really enjoy and only want to lose weight then this is my advise. If you want to get healthy as well then I would maybe cut back to a bottle a weekend (or a…

Diolch Yn Fawr, Dydd Gŵyl Dewi i ti hefyd!

/\ Bang for buck i'd go with this. HIIT to shorten your ride time but still get cardio benefits then strength train with the time saved.

Started running last November to keep my fitness up over the winter months. I 'm usually a road cyclist but i don't like to ride in the winter as it can get dangerous, especially on my commute run which is very rural. I do mountain bike but this is usually only a weekend activity. Got my first half marathon lined up on…

Dark Chocolate is a healthy alternative and can provide you some of the missing calories.

Can't eat 1200 cals yet you claim that you have 40Lbs to lose! Nuts are an easy way to add calories when you're not hungry.

Deal, as long as you don't laugh at my total 0 miles ridden in January! (first road bike ride for over two months planned tomorrow)
