white rice. i figured it at least had some fiber. not much fiber or anything but calories. corn. i love frozen corn.

oh, yeah! processed salads. i had a four hour layover and chose the healthiest looking thing i could find, a sesame chicken salad that was almost all cabbage, white meat chicken, and cucumbers. Ate the whole thing before seeing 1900 cals on the bottom! OMG!

totally normal! as your body gets used to healthy portions it will start to ASK for them. I just posted about how quickly this seems to happen-- consider it a blessing that your body doesn't want those allsorts anymore!

Net calories = Calories eaten - exercise calories. So if you eat 1200 calories, and burn 200 walking, your net calories are 1000 and you should eat more.

Health comes first! Extreme calorie limitation while you're sick will only work against you! Drink the Gatorade, don't worry about the calories until you're better, then get back on the wagon. Plus, you probably don't feel like ingesting much else, anyway, right? Good luck and get better!
